G4 TV

Ok, this was inevitable. I love this channel. It's like playing video games without actually having to move my extremities or use my brain, reflexes, etc.

Things I like about G4:
They do ALOT of stuff on Star Wars games.
The mean ****head guy on Judgement Day.
The host of Cheat! (this guy's the man)
That chick from Pulse
That chick from G4tv.com
That other chick from G4tv.com
Game On.
the Icons about BioWare.
Video games

Things I hate about G4:
The fat guy from Arena.
The fat guy from Arena's voice.
The fat guy from Arena's goatee.
The fat guy frm Arena.
Blister.
Portal.
Almost every contestant on Starcade.
The fact that I think I've seen every episode of every show they have on the air right now.

Who else gets, and loves, this new channel?

i dont know, i have never seen it just heard about it. im not going to shell out another 20 bucks a month for digital cable

 

My digital cable is #3 more than regular, I think.

Oh, and another thing: Why no Penny Arcade show?

Oh yeah, Tycho's wicked fat.

 

I don't get it but I heard they're biased.

 

Who is? There's only one review show, the rest of the shows pretty much focus on the positive aspects of the games. And I don't see how the review show (judgement day) could be biased since one guy pretty much gushers over everything and the other (the cool ****head) hates everything.

I have the channel, it is alright. It just seem slike it is one giant video game ad. I never see any negitive reviews and some of the shows just outright suck. Like that show where the guy talks to online RPG characters and his computer.

 

That's portal. And portal sucks.

Judgement Day, the review show, is full of bad reviews. Also, you have to understand that this network is brend new and stepping on the toes of game developers would not be a good idea.

 

True, true. I guess if I was starting out I wouldn't want to blow it with the major developers.

 

Yeah. They need to developers OK in order to broadcast images from the games in the first place. Making enemies would end the network real quick.

 

The only reason I even found the channel was becasue I was channel surfing and saw some of the really cool promos they run.

 

I heard about it when it was first proposed. Imagine my glee when I saw it on my TV one night.

Hmmm, Bibby, I get AT&T cable (same stuff I use for the internet), am I now getting this? ...It sounds worth a look at.

 

My mom got digital cable over the summer and G4 was one of the new channels. I found it be pretty good for the most part. I still find it hilarious that Will Weaton,aka Wesley Crusher,is the co-host of Arena. That show is so awful it's funny.

 

Is he the fat guy?

 

No the skinny guy. If you don't recall him from Star Trek TNG you might remember him as one of the kids from Stand by Me.

 

Neither ring a bell. He should kill the fat guy.

 

Maybe the fat guy will eat him.

 

I wouldn't put it past the fat guy.
