I have to go to the MDFF meeting this Saturday. Otherwise you won't get Vader for next weekend.

EDIT: And I believe it is Sharon's weekend to work Saturday.

 

Oh yeah...I had forgotten about that. Well, we need someone else to show up. We get a better response than this when we play at Tim's. So far the only definites are Tim and I with Liz and Val being concrete "maybes".

Anyhoo... I was hoping that perhaps you and Ken could show up and we could squeeze in the first round of our "Tournament of the Masters" If there is any selfish reason that I wanted you to show up it was so I could do some trading with you.

if it is a masters tournament what does the one Padawan (ME) do while you are playing?

 

I was hoping several others would show up and you could start preparing yourself to be knighted. But I'm starting to wonder if we'll even have enough players to make it worth while and a master tournament will be out of the question if both Val and Ken don't show up.

The masters need to get ranked quickly though because I have foreseen a fifth master joining the rqanks and we should have a pecking order established before that so the new master will know who he/she has to beat to move up.

 

Who is this 5th master you speak of?

 

Well, i don't want to get anyone's hopes up but I can picture David becoming a master based upon the progress I've seen so far. He still hasn't taken down me or Tim but I do see progress. I also see you becoming a more powerful knight after you've suffered a little more abuse about the stacking thing and empty arenas. We need to brush up on some stuff and then I would like to start pitting you against several others. In particular I want to see you playing David from time to time. It will be a tough bout for you but it might help you get more aggressive.

 

I can be aggressive...occasionally, maybe.

I believe that you can become a truly worthy opponent and I hope you keep an interest in the game

Well, there were only three of us who showed up to play so it was a bit dull and I played the worst ever. Congratulations to Liz though for beating a master (ME! ) and becoming the newest knight!

On the up side even though the force (nor the cards or dice) wasn't with me for the games, it was when I bought a couple of booster packs. I am now the proud owner of the highly sought after Krayt Dragon! Yay !

Edit: Who intends to show up next weekend? We need to make sure that we have eight people if we are to have a tournament.
