Tidewater, VA Galacticon Progress Notes

I will be heading up the fashion show. I let Patrick for HRR know he is going to see if he can get HRR and some 501st peeps he knows.

I had posters printed 4 large ones I took to the library yesturday and I dropped on at EB games at hilltop. I'll be dropping one at Bit of England and EB game in Pembrook tomarrow.
I had 4 large printed and 25 regular size paper.

I emailed the immage to Ashara to forward to the Chesapeake library too. If anyone wants to meet up with me this week to take some to pass out. Let me know.

I spoke to Bill the manager and EB games in Pembrooke about putting a poster in his shop. He was all for it. Then I mentioned if they would like to put something on our add table. He said they would like to come out and have a table. He would have to run it by his corporate office first but he said he would bring a screen with game info and adds and hand out flyers for the store. I told him sure to let me know what he needs.
He also was interested in costumed mbrs coming out to tournaments at the store he is working out the suggestion in co-op with the mall for advertising. So it would be on TV and Radio. Nice hu!!!

Im going to shoot a line to a couple free adds to see if we can get a spot for the con will keep you posted on the progress.

I talked to Tracy of USS Batliff him and his klingon buds are up for it again they need a table and would love to do a demo.

I spoke to Patric and he would love to give a pannel on why not to hate the prequils and why. He was telling me a little bit about it and it sounded awsome.

Called Toni Penna and left message, asked if he would like to come and be costumed out and if there are any pannels he would like to do, and any 501st that would like to come out. Ive been on my face book to all my duds there that would like to come too.

Oh yeah I posted Galacticon event of face book invitted everyone I had. pass it on.

 

Hi. I am the VP of the HRR. I understand that you guys have invited us to attend Galacticon this year, and I would like to accept the invite. I would like to request a table with the possibility of having power if possible.

Also, I will ask Nels if he would be willing to do one of his infamous armor panels if you would like me to.

And just to make certain, This year Galacticon is being held on March 26, 2011 (I have heard other dates too). Is this correct?

 

Hey that would be great. I'll let Dawn Know You guys would like a table. You'll have to supply your own table cloth though.

I just booked a new fan group The Virginia Ghost Busters. The just confirmed. From what I understand they have screen acurate costumes and equipment. The will havea screen with some speacial Ghostbuster clips and a blue emergency light. Im excited.
