I played this game for about 2 years.. (I just quit 4 months ago) i really enjoyed i had serveral characters but of course the only thing I wanted was the frickin' jedi slot and guess I never got it.. they changed the unlock system 3 times in the span I played.. that really ruined the game for me... but the social, grouping, and it being in the star wars universe makes it one of the best games i've ever played...

 

I bought the game awhile ago...unfortunately my computer is not capable of playing it.

Now I really want to play it with the JTL expansion.

I am going crazy now...already a "Wage of the Wookiees"! How could they release it so quick...man I need money.

I heard it sucked when the servers first came up, but I now hear that the game is really good now.

 

I'd like to play it too, but I can't afford the 20 bucks or so a month to play it. I had a friend who worked on the beta tests, and he said it would eventually be a really good game.

 

Rofl. There are a lot of crazy ppl on this forums. Well I currently play Galaxies. Been playing it since day one and I recommend it. I finally got my main character to become a Jedi and Im having more fun now. And the Jump to lightspeed expansion is really good too. I play on the Starsider server.

Ech. If you like other MMOs, then you'll probably like this game. If you don't, then you won't. It is SO BORING unless you enjoy sitting around and chatting, and clicking buttons every once in a while.

I'll try it again after the combat revamp, since it's supposed to get more "exciting", but I doubt I'll stay for more than a month.

If you played the game free, then you were doing something illegal. It is a MMORPG with a monthly subscription fee. Playing it for months for free would essentially be stealing from the game's owners/runners. So, one of three things is happening here:

1) You mistook Star Wars: Galaxies for another Star Wars game, such as Galactic Battlegrounds, and so all your posts are on a different game.
2) You are stealing from the Star Wars: Galaxies owners by playing their subscription based game for free.
3) You are playing a joke on all others in this thread.
