OOC Galaxy's Dump (A Paradoxical Echoes OOC/OOG discussion thread)

Assuming this is about my post last night (I haven't checked), I never intended for our turncoats to be plain, switch on the drop of a hat traitors. No, no. I always planned for this to be an emotional, mental, & drawn out process with much more depth & what-ifs.

 

Jury duty is concluded, give me a few days to gets things back in order and I should have a post done by early next week.

 

I fell asleep last night at the computer.

With that said, you were reading my mind. I was going to start making some random NPCs for everyone's use and I would like to extend that offer to everyone in the game. NPCs add that real-world depth and provide a storyline many can connect with---then we can cold heartily kill them and make everyone mad at us.

 

I've been inching closer to asking when I can start adding npcs, so it looks like you were reading my mind too.

Hey, if Dax and Davis are MI (which, I see from their profiles, that they are), are they feeding information to Levric about the situation on the ground? (Not all of the information, mind you, they are Special Intelligence, after all, but some of it...)

Oh, and I'm waiting to respond to Sith-I-5's tag until Bardan's responded.

Edit ... and done. I was going to just have Cain summarily execute the scanner technician, but wasn't sure if that was within his purview. So I shifted that to the mortally wounded stormtrooper and had the scanner tech arrested pending further review instead.

Laine_Snowtrekker ; I was giving that thought yesterday (about Dax & Davis). I want them to be a bit "black ops" even in relation to your position aboard the SD, but in the same sense need to have your assistance. Let me think on it some more & I'll get back to you ASAP. When I write about [those two], I want it to make sense and carry depth to it, not just a cheesy subplot for our Diplomatic Corps.

 

Does an npc CS need to be as detailed as a PCs?

 

Negative. Just give me the basics, so someone reading it could make sense of the character.

Regarding the TIEs, I am confused.

Are Baille and Alex accompanying the Commodore with their single, two-seat, TIE Phantom, or one each in a pair of normal TIE Fighters?

 

That's a technical error on my part, Sith. I thought Phantoms were one seaters. I guess take up two Phantoms---we can figure out interesting uses for the second TIE.

I do have a question for you; do you mind if I insert a small sub-plot into the Platoon's history that Logan was a recent transfer in from another part of the Battalion? That way, I could get a sub-plot going that the Platoon is trying to see how you do and see if they can trust the "new captain". Thoughts?
