Sorry I haven't yet responded. 1) Been swamped with life, 2) waiting for Jason to answer a question I sent him regarding my potential responses.

I haven't forgotten you all, I promise! I've really been enjoying this ramp-up to an away mission.

I agree. The intrigue is immense; I literally have no idea what to expect. Are we going back to the planet, or onto the moon, or somehow, boarding the Golan?

As far as I am aware, Bravo has not described the Commodore's shuttle, so I am in the dark as to how the Away Team is going to get to wherever we end up going!

EDIT: galactic-vagabond422 - Where on the SD bridge would Natalia be working? Some parts seem crowded enough that a mere four people, doesn't seem like it should be a problem for her.

At her station she has her work to focus on, she can tune out everything else around her. When she has nothing to do, nothing to occupy her mind, four people are a little much. She can't take refuge in her mind since she's learned that her tapping and humming aren't really acceptable social behaviors.

She has coping mechanisms to do her job, not socialize.

    Good answer.

You are playing Natalia's affliction, very well.

Well, write what you know, and I have OCD, and my mom has a degree in Developmental Psychology and was a teacher for kids on the Spectrum.

I am back. The meeting went well yesterday. :) If you're not friends with me on Facebook, I'll have the meeting photo posted later this week (or just add me on Facebook). Long story short, it was our annual "big meeting" we have every year at the end of our performing arts season, which we run February through October and then take November through January off. Its also one of our more causal laid back meetings too, at least dress speaking.

I should be back to my usual reading, posting, & tagging routine by tomorrow; tonight, I'm reading posts and I'll try to squeeze in a post before my old age catches up to me. :)

Well, he runs the mess halls that I suggested to you in this thread, but in the game, nobody has spoken to him about the matter, so I would assume not.

I see, it seems Reen forgot to find herself a red shirt...

You could do a post, brainstorming red things.

    Ask the others for ideas.

The red shirt "requirement" was merely a play-on-words for the Star Trek reference. ;)

I cannot see any pilot training or experience on Markova's CS; are you sure she'll be able to pilot us out of the hangar, let alone to the planet?

Are we being escorted by TIE Fighters or the Phantoms that were moved across?

Are the PTTs simply corridors to walk along, or is there a capsule involved?

    EDIT:

The Vanguard - I got thrown off by Bravo's update, then having to go to work, but since no-one else has posted since, do you want Alex to continue to procure something red for Reen?

She's the Star Destroyer's navigational officer (pilot). If she can pilot a Star Destroyer, I'm pretty sure a shuttle is child's play.

TIE Fighters for right now (the Phantoms will most likely come into play later).

I was thinking a walking corridor, but I'm open to ideas. :)

Don't think what your reading In-Character, Sith, is what is going to happen. Paradoxical is the key in the game's title. No truer then will be this post, says Yoda.

I will be online tonight. Its my wife's birthday today. :)

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MRS....BRAVO!!

Otherwise it is simply a dark, spooky corridor with less lights and lighting than a regular Imperial corridor, with guards at both ends.

Well, on a Merc' mission, that would go without saying; but being an Imperial one, I was prepared for a different outcome.

Hmm. Looks like cross between the StarTrek/Star Wars turbolifts as seen in the movies and the larger tram/transport system like in Babylon 5. I would say that would be like a must for travel quickly through the Star Destroyers superstructure, turbolift down, tram along the long axis to cut down on those long walks from one end to the other.

    Also, happy Birthday Madame Bravo!

My wife thanks you all for the birthday wishes. :)

Crazy week in advance; finishing up wife's birthday of watching LOTR Wednesday night (tomorrow), having a work meeting Thursday night, then have a work training Saturday during the day. Just a heads up.

Off to read posts and get in posts as I can tonight. :)

I am wondering how Vicks knows about the YT-1210 before Englewood does, but no matter. :)

If I am understanding Vicks correctly, the capital city is under diplomatic jurisdiction, and the Commodore should obey his orders.

The Golan is not in the capital city. So under Vicks' current logic, once we leave the capital, he can go **** himself.

Also, is Peter interpreting Vicks' suggestion of the SD making a direct assault, as the away team making a direct assault?

In the post, I indicated that Vicks was notified by Imperial Customs. I had assumed through military channels and connections, but I should have clarified that. Ops.

Technically, yes. But the end of my post makes Englewood's conflicting thoughts to muddy the issue. I'm trying to go beyond surface-level consequences and really hit home at the social-emotional conflicts each character personally faces. In this case, for Englewood, its his military career verses his moral obligations to his crew.

Makes me think of a couple of scenarios in the Thrawn book, very good sir. Now, can I have free reign for what one of the pieces of art is in the room? Or shall I just follow the lead and leave it generic?
