Game Mechanics & the Movies/EU (d20)

    I recently read the "Duel of the Fates" article in SW Gamer #1, and it did an excellent job of translating movie scenes into game mechanics. It sparked the idea that we could use this thread to do the same with other scenes from the movies and/or EU. I'll start with some questions of my own:

    What skill, feat, or whatever did:

    *Qui-Gon & Obi-Wan use to survive the poison gas aboard the TF ship?

    *QGJ "overdo" when he sedated Jar Jar?

    *QGJ mean when he said "the Force will guide us" through the planet's core?

    *QGJ & OWK use to safely land when leaping from the ventilation shaft? It appears as though this ability was used later by OWK & Darth Maul in the climatic battle, though it looked like their landings were not so smooth that time...

    *Jaina Solo use to catch up with Mara & company when her nav. coordinates were altered in VP?

    Answers? Questions of your own?

    //Possibly Control + a high Fortitude Save roll (they can afford it)

    *QGJ "overdo" when he sedated Jar Jar?
    //Friendship most probably, Affect Mind is not meant to have lasting effects, it's rather used to have someone think something and forget afterwards.

    *QGJ mean when he said "the Force will guide us" through the planet's core?
    //Farseeing

    *QGJ & OWK use to safely land when leaping from the ventilation shaft? It appears as though this ability was used later by OWK & Darth Maul in the climatic battle, though it looked like their landings were not so smooth that time...
    //Burst of Speed under Enhance Ability (Dex) Later on the effects may have worn off and the combatants may be too tired to invest some more VP in Enhance Ability (the combat is almost over)

    *Jaina Solo use to catch up with Mara & company when her nav. coordinates were altered in VP?
    //Perhaps to be covered with some add-on power.

    OK, here's my thoughts:

    *Qui-Gon & Obi-Wan use to survive the poison gas aboard the TF ship?
    >>First off, they made their Fortitude saves to avoid initial damage. Then they merely held their breath, using Heal Self to offset any VP loss for holding your breath.

    *QGJ "overdo" when he sedated Jar Jar?
    >>Hmm...either Friendship or Affect Mind

    *QGJ mean when he said "the Force will guide us" through the planet's core?
    >>Farseeing

    *QGJ & OWK use to safely land when leaping from the ventilation shaft? It appears as though this ability was used later by OWK & Darth Maul in the climatic battle, though it looked like their landings were not so smooth that time...

    Okay, here's some more that I'm trying to get answered:

    What did Nomi Sunrider do to Ulic Qel-Droma to "cut him off" from the Force?

    What did OWK use to scare off the Tusken Raiders in ANH?

    What did the Wonder Twins *oops* I mean, what did Jacen, Jaina & Anakin use when they coordinated their attacks at Dubrillon in VP, and why did Anakin "fry out" at the end?

    OWK and the tuskens... Actually Obi just made a Krayt Dragon call and sand people were frightened.

    True true, but what would that be in terms of game mechanics? Affect Mind? Bluff? Fear?

    Intimidate is more accurate - Ben is not using any Force power, and he is trying to scare the Tuskens off.

    In VP, I believe that it was Force Mind and that he just ran out of Vp.
