I have read all the way to Dance With Dragons, And I really wonder how they are going to pull this off. This story is freaking big.
I know they film in Malta (Essos/ Kings Landing) and Ireland (The north)
But Slavers bay, Quarth, Braavos the red wastes? I don't know.
Malta can probably by good for Dorne. But everythine else?
The Ships as well, Galleys, Galeons, Cogs, the Iron Islands.
They better get Peter Dinklage to start training with a pig. That jousting match is gonna be a tough one.
College Humor does Game of Thrones in 16-bit.
(Huge SPOILERS for the first season, obviously! Always, like the show itself, beware of language and adult content (rendered in 16 bit))
As long as the pig is pretty
Awsomely funny? or Funn-ly Awsome?
From comiccon the forst part of the game of thrones "interview"
And Dinklage wins the Emmy. What a very pleasant surprise; it's great to see a genre series like that get any recognition at the Emmys. Hopefully it'll pick up even more steam in the coming years.
A little tasting for season 2. Enjoy!
So when does Season 1 hit DVD? That's what I've been waiting for since I didn't have HBO.
There are...ways...to watch the show without having HBO.
I think your theory is pretty solid. I'm not sure who would have saved Gendry at court after his birth based events of the other 4 novels, as a lot of folk seem to have their own agendas.
But without a way to prove Gendry's birth he still needed Stannis as the legal heir. He likely worded it the way he did just to give multiple options should they be needed.
I've been slowly working through the books for the first time. I'm currently on #3. I have to give huge kudos to the folks in charge of this series, season 1 was nearly identical to the first book with some extra stuff added in.
For anyone who hasn't read the books - they're DENSE. And no matter how much you might find areas that you want to skip over, don't do it, because ultimately something from that section that you wanted to pass over will pop up later in the series
The Simpsons' Game of Thrones intro
I just started re-watching season 1, twice a week until April 1.
BTW, the DVD/Blu-Ray release is the 6th.
Yep. I don't have HBO, but I read the first three books back to back to back and I've been looking forward to the Game of Thrones DVDs for months.
Just got back with GOT season one DVDs in the awesome look, limited edition House Targaryan box art.
Ok, so I've watched the first four episodes of Game of Thrones, which is awesome so far, but is it my imagination, or does anyone get a Lupin vibe from Littlefinger? I also feel like Sam Tarly would have been really good as Neville Longbottom.
I can't wait to see this spring to life off the page in a couple weeks.
