Anyone else hoping that James Purefoy makes it into the show? I've been wanting him to join the cast for quite some time.

They got Margaery's lop-sided grimace right, though.

 

They almost made Bran interesting. Not sure they captured Tywin though or Margaery for that matter.

The character winks, etc. are perfectly timed.

 

I love the vintage "crappy VHS recording" look of it.

 

The style has always reminded me of the crappy syndicated daytime fantasy/sci-fi programs (Hercules, Xena, Andromeda, etc.) which is about the right era. The music is the only thing I think could be out of place, since most 90's shows had already abandoned that level of cheese.

 

I don't see it, that is waaaay more A-Team, even Buck Rogers-ish than anything from the 90's (mid-90's no less).

And yes, we are clearly in the abyss of GOT news to be discussing this.

I had to stop that after 5 seconds; do not want that music in my head when I watch the GOT open.

 

Try reading Malazan as ebooks. I didn't figure out until Book 5 that each book had a glossary.

I figured she was just making it easier for them and wearing the dagger already.
