So in light of Peter O'Toole sadly passing away it has got me thinking of what potentially would happen if the similarly aged Julian Glover was to also pass on...?

I of course do not wish ill of Mr Glover but I find myself contemplating what if we were to get a 'Richard Harris' scenario of the actor not being able to complete a character's story.

Granted Pycelle isn't the most significant of characters (also I haven't read very far in to ADWD so I don't know where he is headed - if anywhere) but what are the options? Do they;
a) recast the role
b) incorporate his role in to an already existing character
c) create a whole new character that essentially has the same motivations and can fill the role

Richard Harris was such a better Dumbledore though. So sad. Who else is old on the show? Maybe Frey...there's not many older characters that I can recall so far.

 

They should cast Nick Jonas or Justin Bieber and have no explanation for why Master Pycell has all of a sudden de-aged by 60 years.
