I think it's fair to say the Vale Lords, esp Royce didn't care much for Littlefinger. So they were prepared to accept a fairly low standard of evidence. Even testimony from a boy seeing visions via a magic tree.

If someone says "these people are dead bcs they got in my way" I'd call that pretty close to an admission.

How would Sansa know that? It's just as likely that she had her husband & father killed. She had after all just tried to kill Sansa! Why would Sansa doubt her given that fact? Now you're the one using book/show knowledge & expecting a character to know what you know.

Wrong, he wasn't even looking for it bcs he wasn't aware of it. What seems clear is that Bran can look back at something if he knows what to look for. There's absolutely no reason to assume he's incapable of answering the question "did Lysa & Baelish kill Jon Arryn". You're just making up these restrictive rules for Bran's abilities to suit your argument. Your assumptions are irrelevant.

What's obvious is that the Starks got together, shared information & pieced several things together. In order to build a case against Baelish. They had 3 important clues:

1. That the dagger used to try to kill Bran belonged to Baelish.
2. The letter Lysa wrote to Cat where she blamed the Lannisters for Jon Arryn's death.
3. That Lysa had insinuated that she & Baelish killed Arryn for getting in the way of their relationship. Added to that the common sense deduction that since Lysa was crazy about Baelish, & they were openly having loud sex in the castle, then surely they'd been having an affair for a long time. In that circumstance the prime suspect for a dead husband is always the wife & her lover.

The picture all of this painted is that Baelish was using Lysa to manipulate events & play the great houses against each other. Also that they very likely killed Arryn, a crime that they tried to frame the Lannisters for. If this was true it would be of great use to get the Vale Lords on board to support LF's execution. The whole arc for Sansa this season is that by the end she'd become sharper & more intuitive to this sort of thing. Like she said, she'd learned her lessons well. So between them all & using Bran's abilities they put it together. I'm not sure what you're even arguing about. The Baelish trial scene confirmed all of this. They laid out all of the truth, & they had the knowledge & the means via Bran to find that truth.

Hopefully this discussion will end before season 8 begins in 2019
