Amph Game Of Thrones (uh i guess it's done now? Edit: No!)

I am also posting a gif as outraged reaction to a known thing.

 

God dammit...

 

I actually don't mind the wait as long as HBO produces another cinematic quality season of Game of Thrones. I mean, the CGI dragons were alot better than alot of the CGI that movies were trying to pass off this year.

 

Their budget is off the charts. The dragons will look great, The Night King will display some horrific new (yet awesome) power that will have everyone slobbering about how hardcore badass it is, and we'll probably see some boobies. That said....GRRM is only an executive producer once again and the real trick for a successful series like this is to make sure the writing doesn't go "cinema stagnant" and somewhat predictable like season 7. It's almost as if it's playing to a market audience.

Don't get me wrong, I'm as hooked on GOT as I've ever been on anything and I can't wait to have a premiere party and serve what I'll call "Every ****ing Chicken in This Room" as an hors d'ouvre. It's just that the flavor of the writing seemed to change a bit. It wasn't bad just...well it wasn't bad, that's all I can say.

Maisie Williams fears she's not hot enough for Hollywood

“It’s only now I’m starting to realize the characters that are available to me because of the way I look and the characters that aren’t available to me,” the 20-year-old actress recently told the irish Times “It’s a very shallow industry. And I don’t look like someone who is cast in roles that are, well, sexualized.”

“Don’t get me wrong. I’m completely in awe of Hollywood’s leading ladies. I love looking at those totally jaw-droppingly beautiful women. But I think it’s sad that you only get to see one type of beautiful on screen,” Williams said.

Sophie Turner said the pressure to look a particular way has become a “real problem.”

Massie Williams is very pretty and a very good actress, it's a shame her big budget superhero-ing horror movie thing got pushed back a year. But I think she's getting more attention on Game of Thrones anyway.

 

Nice that “pretty” comes before her talent.

 

Read the books, bought Season 1 on DVD a month or so ago, was going to finally start watching it tonight, now I can't find it.....................

Hey guys, first time watcher here, though I've read all the books out so far.

Half-way through Season 1 and it's very easy to watch the next episode when an episode ends!

Really like the Starks.

As someone who's familiar with how Jaime is characterized in the later books, it's very easy to be a fan of him even after the events in Episode 1.

Quite a lot of foreshadowing to later events too. Paying especially close to Theon, a character I wasn't too familiar with when reading the books till his betrayal.

All the characters were cast very good.

I think the biggest surprise so far is actually the Knight of Flowers' relationship with Renly is revealed immediately, as well as Ilyrio and Varys being co-conspirators right away.

 

In case you didn't hear The GoT showrunners will be making another series of Star Wars films.
