Should we be encouraging the most pirated show of 2012 keeping its title in 2013?

Okay. I give up. I'll watch it on my laptop if nothing else. But my roommate is moving out soon and the cable will be in my name, so I guess I cried too early.

 

Look if you live in Australia, pirating is pretty much your only option unless you feel like waiting a month.

 

Correction: Pirating is your only option in Australia if you don't want to pay for Foxtel where season 3 will be broadcast the day after its American braodcast or you don't want to purchase it on iTunes when it becomes available the day after that.

 

Dude, I'm a university student, like I could pay for Foxtel. And iTunes service is awful. Slow downloading times, often not even in HD.

 

Though Foxtel did announce its contract-free internet television service so that could be good... When it actually becomes a thing.

 

I'm not suggesting it is affordable or reasonable, I'm simply offering a retort to your suggestion that pirating is essentially the only option. Also iTunes pretty much makes all new episodes of TV available in HD these days.

 

It's the only worthwhile option, yeah.

 

And how much does iTunes charge per episode/season?

 

I never buy shows from iTunes, but I'm pretty sure HBO programming isn't available until long after airing.

 

In America it might take a while but the first episode of season 3 will be on the Aussie iTunes store on April 2nd.

Yup, I was certain I had asked that question before and I still don't like the answer, considering I'll spend nearly that much for the DVD's themselves. Not an option; I guess I'll have to go through the less than legal route then if i want to enjoy season 3.

Ugh, that's why I never buy digital downloads. They're often tied to one service, they're inferior quality to Blu-ray, there are no extras, and they're expensive. If that were my only legal option, I'd just borrow the VHS for jp-30's aunt and then buy the Blu-rays when they came out (I got Season 2 for $25, and that's including the SD-- I think-- iTunes episodes if I want).
