Abq [GAME!] Southwestern Regional Prequel Creatures Tourney - Final Round!

We are gearing up for another fun game in the Southwest Regional Fan Force!

This time we will be running a Tournament of Creatures from Episodes 1-3:

Boga

Reek

Eopie

Mustafar lava flea

Ducks

Aiwha

We will start off with all 16 going to 8 then to 4 and then 2 and the overall winner.

Now, here is the twist. You could win VIPship (no OPPM! ) for two weeks by guessing the winners at each stage. I will be listing the Creatures in their starting positions. From there you have to guess who will win at each bracket up to the final winner. The person who comes the closest to guessing the winners at each stage will win the VIPship. If by chance more than one person guesses the correct answers the first one who sent in a PM will win.

Guesses will be sent in via PM to Boga-The-Magnificent who will be your "host" during the Tournament.

Then on Monday everyone will vote for the 8 creatures they want to stay in the Tourney.

OK, this is it! The moment we have all been waiting for! No, not the Super Bowl . . . the final round of the Prequel Creature Tournament.

This round will determine the winning Creature of the Tournament and the person who will win VIP status with colors!

This game looked like fun to bad no one was notified on the other boards!

 

Actually we were notified by Jada on the Public Forum under the thread titled, "[GAME!] Southwestern Regional Prequel Creature Tournament" posted on Jan 3, 2006.

Am I the only person around here that was just a little confused by this tourney? Humor me...

 

No, it was a bit confusing at the beginning, I think. I think most people got the hang of it by the end.

Pretty much, the way it worked was like this:


The people taking part in the game, would first send the Tourney host their 8 choices of 16 creatures. This was their "selection" for lack of a better term. Then, when open voting takes place, they would post their 8 choices, as well as trying to encourage other people from ... anywhere on the FF or JC forums, to vote for their 8 favorites, hoping more people would vote for the faves the game participants picked. When voting was done, the 8 creatures with the most votes went on to the next round. Then it would start over again: the participants would pick their favorite 4, open voting would determine the top 4, then those 4 would go to the next round.

The player with the most correct choices from each round, added together, would end up being the winner.

I think this game would be more interesting if we had creatures from the entire Saga...

 

Word! Yeah...I'd vote on some Banthas or the Sarlacc.
