    In the case of Squadron Assignments...it says
    "Deploy both simaltaniously" (Spelling? hope thats close enough)
    does this mean that they have to be deployed to the same site with the pilot inside the starship or can they be deployed to any site on the table (without the pilot inside starship) or both be deployed to different locations?

    ex. I have R2 in red 5 in my hand so I use gametext to pull Luke with saber. do I HAVE to deploy Luke inside the ship, or can they go to seperate sites (for example if I play Luke to the Cantina and R2 in Red 5 to the docking bay) thanks

    They have to go into the Starfighter/Starship.

    You have to deploy them simultaneously to either a:

    docking bay
    system
    sector
    capital starship with sufficient capacity

    You must obey deployment restrictions on both cards (i.e. you can't deploy Commander Luke and Red 5 to Endor).
