honestly moses is the only one i could think of putting ahead of the admiral, aside from the five guys just mentioned. he's the other player i was debating taking with my pick. i mean, maybe george mikan but he's just from such a different era that it was practically a different sport. who else is there? ewing? artis gilmore? walton? i just don't see any way you leave robinson out of the top ten. centers as good as he was are just way too few and far between.
Are we limited to basketball centers? Or can I include folks who played center in the NFL and/or NHL? If so then yes. Top 20 for the Admiral.
lol. i don't think that's quite the same kind of position inty. unseld maybe or willis reed. like i said, i'd have to look because i'm not able to think of stuff off the top of my head.
yeah, you should look. when you do i'm pretty sure you won't put either of those guys ahead of robinson. if you don't have any idea of your rankings and can't think of stuff off the top of your head, why make a statement like "robinson is definitely not in my top ten"? yes, he was one of the nicest guys to ever play. maybe that means he lacked a certain "killer instinct". i don't think that's reason enough to hate the guy so much.
I wonder if @New_York_Jedi knows he's up? By the way, I'll be doing a "rolling bump" for this draft. If you miss your window, you can pick at any time, but the person after you will be able to go.
Sorry I knew, I was just invested in the Pat's game...and then in no position to draft. Moses Malone, 81-82, and Sir Charles, 89-90.
Not really relevant to anything, but since people were talking Robinson and Hakeem, I present from the Admiral's twitter feed today: "Happy 50th to Hakeem, the toughest guy I had to guard. Probably still shaking people at 50 #amazingtalent""

That was my thought too- had to pass on one of my favorite players of all time, who I know won't last until my next pick..so I hope it pays off.
i kind of feel like the two players who i plan on taking with my next two picks would still be there in later rounds, but i'm going to take them anyway.
YOU JERK YOU TOOK STOCKON! I SHALL PUNISH YOU ALL BY NOT MAKING MY PICK TILL I GET BACK FROM BIBLE STUDY MUAHAHAHA
Nice pick. That leaves only one 30+ PER season available to be drafted ... Not that PER is the be-all, end-all of stats.
