    Coruscant Vaders at IHNRHW
At Kick: 40 Degrees, Light Wind, Heavy Rain

An ugly first half played in a monsoon gave way to a monsoon of an effort from IHNRHW as they pulled away late to get a dominant road win.

After the two teams set offensive football back 40 years in the first half, Ray Rice took over in the second half as he rolled to 207 yards on 32 carries, including a touchdown in the 4th quarter that removed all doubt from the game.

Neither quarterback looked all that unsettled in the rain, though neither thrived in it. Michael Vick completed 12 of 19 passes for 123 yards and touchdown, while Cam Newton completed 13 for 20 for 166 yards.

For IHNRHW, this game was all about winning the battle in the trenches. They rushed for 4.3 yards per carry, while limiting the Vaders to just 2.8 yards per carry. They converted 10 of their 20 third downs, while limiting the Vaders to converting on just 4 of 17.

Final Score: IHNRHW 30, Coruscant Vaders 9

Rubber Duck Quackers at The Awful Velocipedestriennes
at Kick: 0 Degrees, Heavy Wind, No Snow

In cold temperature, the Rubber Duck Quackers came out on fire, scoring three times in the first quarter.

Then, the Velocipedestriennes put them on ice.

The Velocipedestriennes scored the final 41 points of the game, turning a 17-14 deficit after the first quarter into a 55-17 curb stomping.

J.J. Arrington lead the way with 133 yards on 17 carries, and 3 touchdowns. Tevin Coleman was right behind him with 102 yards on 12 carries and 2 touchdowns. And, Dustin Johnson also broke the century mark, amassing 122 yards on just 5 carries. In all, the Velocipedestriennes gained 537 yards on the ground on a simply astounding 7.7 yards per carry. That mean Johnny Manziel had to only attempt 9 passes, and he completed 5 of them, to 5 different receivers.

Melvin Gordon racked up 210 yards on the ground himself, but 146 of those and both of his touchdowns came in the first quarter. After that, he - and the entire Quackers offense - were shut down by the stout Velocipedestriennes defense and the freezing cold. Besides Gordon's two big touchdowns, the Velocipedestriennes defense did a fantastic job limiting big plays, as Marcus Mariota completed 28 passes, but for only 75 yards.

Final Score: The Awful Velocipedestriennes 55, Rubber Duck Quackers 17

Princes of the Universe at Tebow's Holy Rollers
At Kick: 10 Degrees, Heavy Wind No Snow/Rain

Both teams threw caution to the wind, but on a night of 70 pass attempts and six interceptions, it was Reggie Bush who stole the show.

Bush carried the ball 17 times for 147 yards and two touchdowns, including a scintillating 58 yard run to the endzone just before the half that seemed to turn the tide of the game.

With 15 seconds left in the half, and on their own 42 yard line, the Holy Rollers were down 21-10. They gave the ball to Bush on a pitch right, and he went completely untouched for 58 yards to make it a 4-point game at halftime. That run came just two plays after a Vince Young touchdown run provided the Princes third touchdown of the second quarter. Ultimately, however, it seemed the Bush touchdown grabbed momentum for the Holy Rollers, as the Princes wouldn't score on offense the remainder of the game.

Bush's highlight plays were needed on a night when Ryan Leaf's 288 yards and 3 touchdowns were offset by 3 interceptions, including one Brandon Everage took 83 yards for a touchdown in the 4th quarter to cut the Holy Roller lead to 3. However, his counterpart was just as sloppy with the ball, with Young throwing three interceptions with no touchdowns on 16-of-30 passing for 257 yards.

Ball So Hard U Ballers at Legends of Tomorrow
At Kick: 50 Degrees, Light Wind, Light Rain

When Cairo Santos hit his third field goal of the afternoon, and put the Ball So Hard U Ballers up by 13 with 13:53 to play in the game, it looked like the Ballers would finally get their first conference win, and the Legends of Tomorrow would stumble to their 6th consecutive loss.

When Robert Woods fumbled on the ensuing Legends of Tomorrow possession, the fans started to file out of the stadium, with defeat almost a certainty.

But, the Legends of Tomorrow defense stood tall, forced a quick three-and-out and got the ball back, and Peyton Manning lead a perfect drive down the field to get a touchdown with 6:32 remaining and cut the lead to 6. Another quick three-and-out gave Manning the ball back with 4:49, needing a touchdown to take the lead for the first time all game. Ball So Hard would get the Legends into a 4th and 9 situation at the 50, but Manning would find Troy Walters for 16 yards to keep hope alive.

Walters was again the recipient on a big play, gaining 13 yards to get the Legends a first-and-goal at the 2 with 53 seconds left. After a gain of one, a penalty, and two incomplete passes, the Legends faced 4th and Goal from the six, with just 36 seconds left, the entire game hanging in the balance on one play.

That play was pure gold for the Legends, as Peyton Manning found Dennis Pitta wide open in the endzone. The Extra Point was good, and the Legends of Tomorrow had their first lead of the game at 31-30.

Robert Griffin III was sacked twice on the ensuing possession, including a safety, to give the ball back to the Legends, and give them the ability to kneel down, run out the clock, and savor their first conference win.

On the game, Manning ended up with 407 yards, 4 touchdowns, and an interception on 37-of-59 passing. Woods hauled in 9 passes for 88 yards, and Walters 7 for 82 and 2 touchdowns.

Griffin completed 5 of his 7 attempts for 124 yards, no interceptions and a touchdown. Ricky Williams lead all rushers with 166 yards on 23 carries.

Scarlet and Grey Sloopies at Get On Board the Sexy Boat
At Kick: 80 Degrees, Light Wind, No Rain

After a 12-round, heavyweight fight, the #1 team in the country is still undefeated.

    Barely.

Each team scored ten points in the final 2:04 of the first half. That should have been our indication this game wouldn't be normal.

The game seemed to turn in the Sloopies favor in a span of just over 6 minutes of game time. Cardale Jones threw two touchdown passes, with a Jaylen Watkins 40 yard interception return for a touchdown sandwiched between them to put the Sloopies up 24-10 early in the second quarter. After the aforementioned trade of points at the end of the half, the Sloopies took a 14-point lead to the half.

But, the Sexy Boat would close the gap to just four with two scoring drives in the third, while keeping the Sloopies off the board. A Mike Nugent field goal early in the 4th pushed the lead to 7, but the Sexy Boat would have their chances still to come.

The Sexy Boat were forced to punt on their next two possessions following that field goal, but then faced a 4th and 16 from midfield with just 1:40 to play. A Jameis Winston misefire on fourth down turned it over. But, with two timeouts left, though, Sexy Boat could force a punt and still have time for a miracle drive. Facing third-and-seven, Sexy Boat needed a stop to get the ball back, but Jahvid Best picked up 18 on a draw play, allowing Cardale Jones to take a knee and run the clock out, preserving the only undefeated record in the country.

Cardale Jones amassed 330 yards on 21-for-28 passing with 2 touchdowns and zero interceptions. LaDanian Tomlinson gave him balance, picking up 120 yards on 25 carries, while Best picked up 91 on just 11 carries. Terrance Williams was Jones' favorite target, with 107 yards on 6 receptions.

Winston, minus the pick-six, was solid as well, completing 26 of his 37 attempts for 321 yards and two touchdowns. Antonio Bryant caught five of those passes for 107 yards, while Eddie Lacy picked up 93 yards on the ground on just 8 carries.

Final Score: Scarlet and Grey Sloopies 37, Get On Board The Sexy Boat 30.

    Week 10 - Thursday November 12th

    Coruscant Vaders at IHNRHW
At Kick: 40 Degrees, Light Wind, Heavy Rain

There were three big elements to this game: Mark Ingram, Ray Rice, and a lot of rain.

Ray Rice carried the ball 29 times for 144 yards. Ingram carried it 25 times for 109 yards. Ingram found the endzone, Rice didn't.

But, in the end, a stout defensive performance carried I Have No Responsibility Here Whatsoever to victory.

After a scoreless first quarter, the Coruscant Vaders struck first, on Ingram's touchdown run early in the second quarter. That would be the only time the IHNRHW defense let them score.

IHRNRHW picked up a field goal in the second quarter in response to that touchdown, and we were at 7-3 at the half. But, IHRNRH took two drives the distance and into the endzone in the third quarter to take the lead, and then used their defense to dominate the fourth quarter and bring home a victory.

Michael Vick was responsible for both touchdowns, finding Amari Cooper on a 3-yard pass for the first, after Rice was stoned at the goal line, and then scrambling for a six-yard touchdown run later in the third. He completed 17 of 22 passes on the day, for 186 yards. On the other sideline, Kellen Moore completed just 23 of 40 attempts for 211 yards, didn't find the end zone, and was intercepted once.

    OBC's MVPs at FFFU
At Kick: 40 Degrees, Heavy Wind, No Rain

Both teams went to the air early and often.

But, FFFU ran out of fireworks, while OBC's MVPs kept lighting up the scoreboard.

The two teams combined for 714 yards passing, 79 pass attempts, and 51 completions. But, while Graham Harrel found his passes going for six points six times (albeint, two of them on interception returns by FFFU), Matt Leinart never found the end zone. And OBC simply ran away from FFFU in the second half.

Adrian Peterson's third touchdown run of the first half made it a four-point game at halftime. But, OBC drove for a touchdown right out of the half, force a three-and-out on the ensuing possession and then scored again on their next possession to take control of the game.

Peterson ended the game with just 85 yards rushing, and almost none of it coming after the half. Kenjon Barner, on the other hand, had 171 yards on 14 carries and LaMichael James added 93 yards, as the OBC offense rolled to 675 yards of total offense and 8.77 yards per play. That was enough to overcome two interceptions by Harrel - both returned for FFFU touchdowns - and three fumbles, though FFFU couldn't recover any of them.

    Final Score: OBC's MVPs 58, FFFU 41
