Does anyone have this mag yet? It was supposed to be sent to subscribers on the 19th (or something like that).

If anyone has it, what was "Handoff" about?

Whatother articles were there?

I've got a substription, so I'm planning on getting it by Friday.

 

I think we should organize some sort of fan petition to keep this mag alive; it's the only current outlet for Star Wars short fiction and RPG info. And it's just a great magazine in general! I'm sick of good things being taken away. We need to do something.

I haven't gotten mine yet. Grr. I can't believe it's not here yet, SW.com said they shipped the 19th to subscribers.

 

Okay, guys and gals... I'm new to all of this, so here goes...

I'm 36 years old, a professional writer, and pissed off. I'm thinkin' of setting up an email address for people to send in encouragement to get Star Wars Gamer going again... either in print or online form (which is, I suspect, what will happen anyway). However, I need support. Get as many people as possible to respond to this... if there are enough I'll spearhead a campaign to get WotC's attention from our community.

Ooooooookay... it's been a couple o' days and there are a few responses to my idea posted above. I need some suggestions on how to spread the word somewhat rapidly about this... any ideas?

 

Loads of snail mail requests to continue the magazine would probably go a long way.

 

I have already sent letters. Everyone should do that, because most companies will pay more attention to such things, although bombarding them with several different formats could not hurt. It worked on Disney.

Well, I have Issue 10... and it's quite good as usual! However, there's no indication of the mag's fate in it's pages.... Which isn't a surprise, really. I was just kind of hoping against hope....

 

I got my copy yesterday, it was really good. It just had alot of spoilers.

 

If you'll notice, the Special Ops section was written by SWRPGNetwork staffers! Gary Sarli wrote the prestige class, and I wrote the Archetype (though they accidentally stuck Gary's name on my article, you can see that I wrote it by looking at the Table of Contents, my name is Rodney Thompson.)

Yep which is really hard with were I work. I'm in Layaway so all the toys are constantly coming through and its SO hard not to read them.

I still havent gotten mine in yet and Im getting TICKED OFF. I payed good money for a subscription in December and havent received anything new since February. THIS SUCKS!

 

That stinks. I've notice that mail travels really slow from WOTC.

 

I'm in the same boat as other subscribers here - I haven't received # 10 either. I actually saw a post in the Literature boards stating someone bought it off a newstand already. If so, go figure . . . I got # 9 after Gamer # 9 hit newstands, and my # 9 was all jacked with creases!!! Sheesh!!!

 

Did you write a complaint?
