It's actually one of my most favorite gamer issues, next to issue 5(though I find it hard to choose which one I like the best).

Five's still better, but I have to say 9 is very good. A number of articles which tie a whole lot of things togther with respect to Endor & Modell.

I'm liking the Keyes serial very much as well.

This one's been out for subscribers for almost a month. It was a good issue but initially kinda dissappointing for me.

I aswell have this issue, although the Beltrunning article is taken almost word-for-word from the NJO sourcebook.

although the Beltrunning article is taken almost word-for0word from the NJO sourcebook.

Didn't the mag come out first, so wouldn't this be the other way around?

The NJO Sourcebook was released about a month ago, Gamer 9 has only been out about two weeks.

The Sourcebook has been finished, or at least written for several months at least though.

Mine just came in on Saturday. And ironically, I saw it on newstands that same day.

I'm a little surprised at the lack of talk on this one. I thought Keyes had more than one interesting twist with his female Jedi in the next installment of Emissaries of the Void. And I thought the Modell Sector piece by Carey, Fry & Wallace is chalked full of hard work and continuity details; hammering out the world creation on that piece alone looks amazing!!! Not since Mike Kogge's Centrality piece in Gamer # 5 have I been this impressed with a locales and history oriented piece. Great job to all!!!

Anyone have thoughts on Gamer # 9?

"I'm a little surprised at the lack of talk on this one."

Then you missed the thread about it a week or two ago, we discussed the issue in great detail.

"And I thought the Modell Sector piece by Carey, Fry & Wallace is chalked full of hard work and continuity details; hammering out the world creation on that piece alone looks amazing!!!"

I love that article epecially, the refrencing of star tours.

"Not since Mike Kogge's Centrality piece in Gamer # 5 have I been this impressed with a locales and history oriented piece. Great job to all!!!"

    I fully agree.

"Anyone have thoughts on Gamer # 9?"

Like I said it's one of my favorite issues up there with issue 5.

D*mn I just was able to find the NJO sourcebook today.

Now I find out that Gamer #9 is out as well.

One would think the Capital of Florida would be on the ball.

THIS messed-up state? I don't things are any more on the ball in Tallahassee than they are down here in Miami.

    Thanks for the FYI Val,

I did check that thread, but I guess I missed when the discussion covered material other than Keyes' 2nd part of his novella.

I'll have to backtrack and see what I missed.

    Best!

I agree that #5 was the best, but 9 is good. Real good.
