Do you name your systems, PB?

And poor Dum. =( Get a new mobo and processor though, and you're good to go. Pricewatch has 900MHz Durron/Motherboard combos for under $100.

For my birthday all I'm asking for is a sweatshirt and permission to upgrade the computer using whatever money my father would like to give me.

Curious enough, what's everyone's benchmark score from say, http://www.pcpitstop.com ?

That might require a different thread on JCC...

I, too have have multi-partitions, SithForceLord, all the way letter H:

    ..

You know what pisses me off is that, the same year Sound Blaster Audigy comes out, I put out $99 for a SB Live! card?!!

Creative, should do a trade-in... Argh!

That's just how life sucks for me..

Well I think these are my specs.

    Be warned, mine is OLD.

    40X CD-ROM Drive (6+ months old)
    KTX Color Monitor - Super VGA 800 x 600.
    Microsoft Internet Keyboard
    Microsoft Mouse
    Cyberstik Joystick (Has removable base)
    200 MGHz CPU
    96MB RAM
    2.99 Gig HD
MS 691 Multi-Media Stereo Speaker System
    Cable Modem

Thats it I think. It's going to be upgraded in the next year to about 900 MGz CPU & 20-40 Gig HD. Maybe more RAM as well.

I play the ones that run on my machine, yes.

Half the games I want won't run. Ie: Galactic Battlegrounds, Force Commander, Battle for Naboo.

The plan is to have the game upgraded by the time Jedi Knight II comes out.

But a new P4 machine costs AU$2000+. I can't afford that - Even with a job. Stupid Aussie economy. But my parents or myself could buy the upgraded parts cheaply, I know someone who could get them wholesale for us.

I have an old Apple. Here's it's specs. It hasn't been used in 2 years to the day (last I used it was January 1, 2000, to see if it was Y2K compatible):

    1 MB RAM
    800K Drive
    20SC Hard Disk

Those units are so old I don't even know what they represent.
