Abq Gamers Thread... SW & Non-SW

I did several searches and could not find a thread on gaming here so I figure why not start one.

This is for Star Wars and Non-Star Wars of course. Computer, Console, board... I don't know

So what games does everyone play?

Console-I love the Gauntlet but I did just pick up The Sims Bustin' Out

Computer-Galaxies, Sims, Jedi Academy, Ages of Empires...

I love pretty much all board games.

 

I consider myself pretty hardcore. Here's my collection.

Right now I'm into playing Call of Duty online and MGS2.

 

I would say slightly,

are you going to be getting battlefront? When I was in EB the guy behind the counter was telling me about the campaigns.... ah more daydreaming for a better computer one of these days.

 

Of course I'm getting Battlefront I don't know whether on PC or Xbox.

 

PC > XBox

 

But my PC might not be able to run it.

 

I wish mine could... which one do you play shooting games on more?

All I can say is, WOWZERS!! I've got everything under the hood of my PC, but the CPU power. I've been wanting to upgrade, though...

 

that is a mighty list of requirements but then again i have found you normally need at least a bit more then they "suggest" I have the min. for Galaxies and I had major probs with it...

close to my sims2 list... I have the requirments on my home computer but I will install it on the laptop-sush, don't tell my work.

 

Mine probably will then, I need to break down and get a better video card though.

I got pretty much all the SW games on X-box... but have been addicted TO NFL 2K5 and Madden 05

 

got my sims2 last night, its pretty cool. it is very different though from the original sims.

 

i have found latly that i have sunk deeper into my rekindeled Diablo 2 addiction. its alot of fun to play online, but it sux in singleplayer anymore.

unfortunatly due to financial circumstances i pry wont be buying any games anytime soon. thats why i have friends who buy games

on my current list of things to get:
Rome: Total War
Half-Life 2
SW: Battlefront
WarHammer: Dawn of War

i do think that is a safe assesment.

the sims freaked me out casue my little sim dude resembled my real life WAY too much.

on future game i am looking forward to is one called "The Movies". basically you start a fledgling production company and make movies. I suppose you could say its very similler to something like RollerCoaster Tycoon (which i LOVE), it just looks really sweet.

 

has anyone played the x-men legends yet? it totally sucks! Took an hour just play 2 frigging characters! argh!

 

I grabbed Battlefront the first day. it was... meh... I Loved 1492 and had expected it would have the same physical element of realism, but it just didnt. Plus the A-I sucked. However, Republic Commando looks promising.

If anyone on here is interested in playing Ever Quest 2 and you are looking for a guild, let me know. I am on the governing council of a prominent SWG guild that is transferring to EQ2.
