What's wrong with EV, Quest, and SoCom? They do a great job.

 

Make Jedi_Dajuan a games mod. She's already modding this forum a lot. It's just a matter of putting her name up there. Can't hurt.

Note: Errant_Venture became Games Mod this same way.

 

Umm, yeah.....I say no to Daj being made a Games mod. Cause I resist change and I like the current setup. Nothing against Daj, but....Games has never had a woman moderator and I am going to be sexist on this issue.

 

I hate change. Leave EV, Quest, and SoCom in.

Drat, and I had hoped so much that we one day could express ourselves with avatars that we find. But it may be something that the site can work towards.

 

We like having set dimensions to icons. It keeps the board clean looking and we don't have to worry about policing the icons along with everything else. You could try to become an icon maker if you really want to have icons on here. Go to comms and read the icon thread, that will give you an idea of what you need to do.

 

I know it's a modding "style" and all, but can I please register how annoying it is when a mod "ups" a thread for simply the purpose of locking it. I can sort of understand the reasoning if the threads a total train wreck with lots of people misbehaving so as to ensure maximum exposure and that all involved read the warning etc.

But upping a 1 post thread simply to point out another existing thread really grates. It's like "hey look at me, I locked your thread" - it's even more jarring now the last poster in a thread is listed on the forum topic page. Upping threads to lock them clutters the top of the forum with locked threads and is almost always unnecessary. A comment / link can easily be edited the first post as you lock.

If you're so concerned that the thread being locked neds to be brought to the attention of the naughty person who started it, then just PM them for goodness sake.

I tend to just do an edit in the first post. I rarely actually make a post saying why its locked.

 

I rarely up them when I lock a thread Chim. I'm too lazy, I do what EV said he does too.
