There sure is, I bumped it for you.
I am very thankful for all above information and games forums, it is very useful for me.
Edit: Edited out links (promoting/advertising).
The platform specific stickies in this forum, I never read any of them because the eye skips over them. And they add way too much clutter.
Why not unsticky them and maybe add a links bar in the header area of the board? Then at least you'd see which are active as they rise and fall like any other thread here.
Actually, I was thinking of making a super guide thread, one that contains all links to platforms and their biggest/most requested game threads. Just gotta find the time to put it together.
Quest, what do you think.
Good lord the index is all outdated. I was looking for the Batman: Arkham thread. I played it on a PC, but is in the Xbox section?
Too much work, will post my thoughts in a better forum
Not sure if I should ask here, but question: If I was to start playing a game on a computer say like Call of Duty 4, 1.what would I need to pay it? I mean would I need like a joystick or something? and 2. would I have to pay to play online?
1) A mouse and keyboard.
Taking the above suggestions into consideration, we've decided to de-sticky the console threads and we're gonna work on updating the index thread shortly, as well as revising header links.
I love this forum so much more without that many stickies up there. Hooray!
Header links sound excellent.
Hopefully the platform threads won't become too buried. In other words, post more!
Header links have been revised to remove some unneeded ones (the social thread is rarely ever beyond page 1, for example) and replace them with the console threads, to compensate for their destickification.
Looks good, thanks Quest!
The index is dead.
I keep meaning to make a new, slimmer index, I'll get around to it eventually.
A child should never have to die before the mother.
I have all of the Index pages backed up on my computer. The last time I did anything with the Index was probably somewhere around 2008. Let me know if you need/want these files or even if you need help updating the Index or whatever. I don't post in Games as much, but I'm still weirdly attached to the pages-long document of links and html.
This forum software is crazy. It's about time we moved.
YOU KNOW WHAT DONT EVEN BOTHER MY SUGGESTION IS TO GOOD FOR YOUR BOX
Make an E3 thread with all the news, so I don't have to google everything
I'm not really following it much, just the odd bits from my RSS feeds. If anyone wants to make a special E3 thread then by all means go ahead.
I just noticed for the first time the Links header. Good stuff.
Oh my God. This too.
Gone too soon.
I have a suggestion
Go for it.
