Games that need a sequel.

Jet Force Gemini. One of my favorite games of all time, I was shocked that it didn't have a sequel at launch for the GC. Then when Rare was bought up, I thought that for sure I'd see one on the X-Box. But still nothing.

The Chronicle of Riddick Escape from Butcher Bay needs a sequel that is longer and has multiplayer. that game was so awesome but was so short. Luckily there are rumors that there is going to be one.

 

TIE Fighter. I demand TIE Fighter: Empire.

Revenant. Awesome pc rpg. Great controls, weapons, story, magic, combat and everything. Does anyone know if Eidos even exists anymore? I dont seem to remember any games put out by them lately aside from Thief, maybe. They're the ones who made revenant.

 

A third entry in the Shenmue series. I hear Japan is getting an MMORPG set in the world, but I want to see the single player story continued.

 

Giants: Citizen Kabuto.

Return to Castle Wolfenstien. (The sequel: Enemy Territory, is an awesome free MP FPS game, but another single player game would be great, pity they cancelled the single player aspect of ET)

 

Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Perfect Dark need sequels, though I suppose the latter is getting one.

Sam and Max: Hit The Road and Escape from Monkey Island. Thats right Lucasarts, I want more adventure games not more Star Wars!

 

Perfect Dark!!That game was awesome. I liked it better than Bond.

 

oh, and Indiana Jones, but as stated many times before - not a murderer / killing rampage Dr. Jones.

 

Maniac Mansion may already have a sequel (Day of the Tentacle), but it could use a new one. Too bad about LA.

 

To be honest, I don't think Sam & Max ever really needed a sequel - I don't really think *any* of those old adventures needed one (and Monkey Island 2 certainly didn't).

I'd very much like to see a System Shock 3 - those games have a formula that could really benefit from modern graphical technology.

I'd also like to see another Little Big Adventure game. I always loved those.

And it wouldn't need to be a direct sequel, but I'd love to see another Blade Runner game - something else that could really benefit from modern graphics.

It is coming. It is alledged to be in early development and be based on the Doom 3 engine. id is not directly involved though they are providing the engine.

 

Max Payne 2 needs a sequel . they might as well make it a trilogy .
