Okay, I'll give it until tomorrow afternoon/evening EST and then we'll start. If by chance more than 6 people want to play, that's totally fine.
Sorry this look a little longer than planned; the weekend got really hectic really quickly.

@Random Comments and
@Point Given I'll give you guys until Saturday at 5 p.m. PST to send me yours, since we've had board issues.
Sorry about that, I completely forgot to check the thread. I'll get this up tomorrow since I'm about to go to sleep.
Okay, sorry. I didn't see it.
Wow, it is still anyone's game! We could have multiple winners ... Remember, no adjectives (kitchen sink wouldn't count for K things in a house; it's a sink).
The next letter is M. You have 48 hours!

Shouldn't "dragon" be red and not count for me?
And if you don't count Given's Deck Chair, how could you count armchair or such. It's a type of chair....
Thanks for the catches! And I actually didn't count armchair.
I admittedly was trying to read this without my glasses...
Armchair is a noun, so the adjective rule she was talking about does not apply, in this case it was not counted because everyone and their mother put down armchair, so it was eliminated
I'm aware of that.
I meant that "couldn't deck chair be considered a compound noun of some sort?"
I was half asleep and didn't have my glasses on.
Sorry this is late; this week has been absolutely nnuts.

missed it by that much
Anyone have a request for the next game?
Name that character? List traits of a famous character in fiction (be it TV/Movies/books/etc.,) and have contestants try to guess who it is?
Hmmmm. Sounds like 20 Questions. I'd love Man Bites Dog or Beyond Balderdash especially for the former, the SW version.
Please, come back to Mad Libs soon. I missed the first game, because I just found this awesome thread. Yes, Man Bites Dog SW version, please.
Juliet--as Jade said, that sounds a lot like [link=http://boards.theforce.net/threads/20-questions-has-winner.50004744/]20 Questions[/link]. But I'd love to get more games going if you have any suggestions ...
As I"m a bit short on time ATM, we're going to play another round of Rare Entries. Remember, you don't need to sign up! Just play
This game has no sign-up necessary.
I will post a set of six categories, each of which has a small pool of correct answers (like "One of the Seven Deadly Sins" or "Character who was in all three films of the OT"), and anyone who wishes to take part PMs a list with one answer for each. Once the submission period (72 hours) is up, I will then assign points for each correct response based on how many people answered it; one point if only one gave it, two if two did, and so on. An incorrect answer is worth one point more than the highest-scoring correct answer.
For example, to use the Deadly Sins question, if only one guy said sloth, he'd get one point, but the four people who picked lust would each get four. Assuming that was the most popular answer, then the person who answered jaywalking would get five points. Once all the answers have been given scores, a person's six numbers are then multiplied to come up with a final score, with the lowest-scoring person being the winner. Someone with all unique answers would score a perfect one point. The categories will be on varied subjects, and research is allowed and encouraged.
Remember, the point is to score less than everyone else by having the most unique answers.
Color of the rainbow (ROYGBIV)
Beatle (Fab Four only, no "fifth Beatle")
Tonight Show host (past, present, or future)
2013 Best Picture Oscar nominee
The more people who enter, the more chance multiple people will end up with colors
Any last takers? Only 24 hours left ...
