It's a smart move that gets them cap space that they were never going to get via conventional means. They were so fortunate that Columbus went for this.

 

I most certainly was not but I will admit I was excited when we got Bolland (another acquisition that failed horribly).

 

I liked Clarkson, but I hated the contract.

Anyone who doesn't want to play in a city like TO and a team that is beloved by its fans like the Leafs are should get the **** out. We don't want you if you don't have the stones to play here.

 

Those lockouts were useless when you really think about it. It brought up the salaries of the middle of the road players so much. The owners just can't help themselves.
