It was definitely a penalty but 5 minutes + game misconduct seems overboard.

It was two handed. By the rule book it"s five and a game.

It's PK doing what he does to get under Stone's skin. He was slashing and cross checking that kid all night even before the big slash happened. Stone's injury seemed genuine too because he didn't play much the rest of the night.

Bobby Clarke was at least smart enough to do it to the best player on the opposing team.

We cannot afford to lose Girardi for any amount of time. Not a great win tonight, but at least Kunitz was the only member of the big three who was able to function out there for the Pens.

For anyone else who's like me and has never really paid attention to the Draft Lottery before. Number combos can be found here. C'mon 1-2-3-4!

So T, just curious about your personal opinion. Do you think Darling should start Game 3 at Chicago? The media is blowing this out of proportion... there's no 'goalie situation'. Whoever starts, the Blackhawks are golden.

I think it's a legit topic and I would go with Crow but with a very short leash.

Crawford was far from the only problem last night...he got hung out to dry a couple of times and Versteeg is a virtual waste of space at this point. That's not to absolve Crawford of any blame...there was certainly something off about him.

Tarasenko is going to win a Hart someday. Kid is absolute dynamite.

Well, the decision has been made. Darling gets the start. Although I wouldn't be overly-concerned with playing Crawford again, I tend to agree with the choice. Based on performance, I'd say it's the way to go. Pretty tough to ignore 42 stops and the longest relief appearance without allowing a goal. However, I do wonder what this will do to Crow's mentality.

Defense was horrible last night, part of the reason why Crawford was having difficulty. Imma need the Hawks to try not to give me a heart attack again.

No Weber for Game 3... plus, Darling gets the start. This could spell trouble for the Preds.

No Weber certainly means bullets dodged. He's a felony in 14 states.
