Sad to see hope wasted, happy for a Hawks W.
six wins in a row
from scraping the bottom to 2 pts back of jersey for the metro
For a team that is pretty light on talent, the Wild are such a scrappy, gritty bunch.
Just watched them flawlessly kill a penalty against the bigger, faster Kings top PP unit - should be used by every single youth/minor league program as an instructional video. It was beautiful.
Wild got some skill. At least when they're fully healthy. Don't be fooled. They just put more of a premium on team D. Maybe more than any other team.
God, would i love to have marchand on my team. over so many of the flashier guys. he's as dangerous as the elite scorers from the wing, plays great defense, and takes absolutely no ****.
that elbow tonight on johansson was dirty as hell, and he deserves to be suspended, but he just abused schneider on that game-winner tonight. thing of beauty.
with an offseason under his belt to work with some of these lines, duclair is going to be so good for chicago. elite stick skills, and (especially for his age) has great ice awareness and positioning.
got him cheap, too!
I wish he was a little stronger on the boards
Vegas now officially the best record in the league. Truly unbelievable - anyone think they have a chance at doing anything in the playoffs?
I guess it's as good a year as any to find another team to pull for (temporarily), since the Rangers are kicking rocks a game or two above last place in the Metro.
I think as long as Fleury is on his game they'll have a chance.
Got to go the Leafs game last night as part of a work event. Probably the best game they've played all season.
Islanders need to commit to Halak - Greiss is garbage. Leafs look awfully good though.
I think any team that makes it into the second season has a chance. Especially when there's no defensive juggernaut team(s) at the moment.
Fleury is obviously the key. I wonder what happens at trade deadline though. Do they add or trade their free agents for picks. I'll wager even McPhee couldn't have imagined them being this good.
