Gators or Buckeyes

I'll be rooting hard for my Gators. But I think on a neutral field, OSU would win 7/10 times.

Very few people have given the Gators much of a chance and I think that will work to their advantage. They're battle-tested with their SEC schedule, and OSU's wins over Mich and Texas look less impressive in hindsight (not that that means OSU is a bad team, they just have few quality wins). I'm sure Tressel and Meyer will have their players ready for the game.

Two things I know for certain. 1, I'll be on University Ave. having a good time win or lose. And 2, thank God I'm not a Seminole.

Nah, I wish I could be there for the game. I'm right here in Gainesville attending UF.

 

Ohio State is a huge favorite to win. Even the polls have Ohio State at a high margin to win. You know what all this pre-game analysis is? Overrated. You can't predict execution and you can't predict circumstances. My gut says Florida.

 

pregame anaylsis is way overrated. Take Larry Johnson's 32 yards rushing for example

 

Definitely rooting for the Buckeyes here! With the offense they have, there's no way they can lose!

I'm personally worried about those five-receiver sets that OSU likes to use. Troy Smith may dink and dunk on us all night tomorrow if our guys don't step it up.

 

i'd like to officially predict that the gators will win, and by the score of 28-21.

As a BSU student/fan I always have to cheer for the underdog. Go Gators!!!!

 

Today's the day! Things are buzzing here in Gainesville.

This looks like it's going to be a very fast paced game.

I think that both teams are coming out extra excited. I think they'll balance out and calm down as the game goes on.

 

OSU punts, then gets called for a personal foul. Florida with a short field again, could score again quickly.

 

That's two dumb personal fouls on OSU already. They better calm down soon.

Three different Gators have taken a snap in the first 8 minutes - Leak, Tebow, and now Percy Harvin. Wonder if thats a record for a championship game.

EDIT (attempt 2): Florida TD, reviewed, replay shows him short.. and the refs let it stand. Still, UF would have probably scored anyways on the next play.
