What are you all complaining about. It only took me about 30min d/l at 53k/sec off of Fileplanet's Italy Server.

 

Mine will be finished in 2 hours or so. I will leave the computer on.

Important Notice!
The Official JC.N GL Glactic Battlegrounds Taunt Pack will be posted tomorrow at some time after 3 PM EST.

The pack has already been assembled by DUM-4 and myself. The .zip file weighs in at 3,051 KB, and adds some 91 taunts to the ones included in GBG (including Monty Python, Star Wars, South Park, Looney Tunes, Spaceballs, and most importantly the long awaited Jade Skyhiker recordings--you will soon know what //44 means ). Those of you that were here during the Age of Kings Era, you will remember how much these taunts add to the game. If not, you will soon learn.

I'll include instructions in tomorrow's post. But they are not difficult. I would post the pack now, but I choose not to for several reasons. Most importantly, I don't have the demo, so I can't test them yet.

fastesst dl demo i ever had was simcity3000 that was about 120mb, got it in about 2 minutes, nice

I'm using DL accelerator and about every quater MB I get an error message saying URL could not be found! I'll have to stay with my computer for the next 3 hours 48mins!

 

i got that first time i resumed it when my comp came up, then 2 more times, but its been fine since about 20% (its at 46% now)

 

Yeah, it seems OK now. *knock on wood*

 

I went out for dinner, and the thing still hasn't connected.

 

I've hit 70%. And I've nearly planned a fan-fic too. I got that problem as well. I'm running a 56k modem and the D/L speed is 3.5kbs. I've been D/ling for 5 hours.

 

Don't know what happened, but it's just started, and will take less than an hour.

 

Mine finished overnight.

 

I'm on Road Runner, and it says: 9 hrs, 46 min left.

Oh, the humanity!

 

done with the mission...well, there are some things that definatley need to be changed before release, like the names of the things, it calls the AT-ST something completley different, something mech

and the way some things fire, like the at-st, it has its head coming back and then has to restabilize itself..dumb

 

84% and it's 11:12pm in Oz.

Definately looks good. But there are some things that could use a little work.

I'd create a mirror, but I've just spent an hour trying to work past the block on ftp here at my uni, and I've had no luck.

AJ I think I read somewhere that it's called mech so you know what is it's equivelant in each of the civs. Each civ has a mech unit etc.
