FF:VIC Geek Announcement! Cheap books!

Thanks to my 'contacts' in the 'industry' *cough* I have come across the information that the Angus & Robertson at 379 Collins St, city, is closing down on Friday for refurbishment...


...which means, this Thursday 18th of January, ALL STOCK IS 50% OFF! Every single novel, text book, kids book, autobiography and doodad thingy is half price!


So come in, get cheap reads, stock up on presents for next xmas etc, whatever takes your fancy!

I'll probably be there myself around lunchtime (I work upstairs )

...eh, screw it, I have to go. I've got to get to work at midday, so I'll pop by in the morning- what time does the store open?

And the store opens at around 9am. Well, it's open when I'm slinking into work at 9.05, so I'm assuming that's when it opens


The people at the office have been told (we had our own special couple of hours today) but I'm pretty sure it's going to be advertised on the day. But no one is ever in the store early!

It's really really tempting... I need more books.... Buuuuuuuuuut the drive there will kill me since I have to sleep between 10am and 4pm on friday...

However, since I'm not working on Thursday I may trek down to pick some some books.

No problems at all. I still managed to pick up some decent books, and was complimented nicely by the check-out girl.
