Lou, KY Geek Galaxy Con Evansville November 15-16

The team that puts together the very professional Lexington Con is starting a new show in Evansville this Fall. Like the Lexington con they're bringing in some Star Wars guests. Already announced are Peter Mayhew, Orli Shoshan and voice actors Jim Cummings and Mark Dodson.

Takes ninety minutes to get to Eville. So, its a doable road trip.

 

Unless your in a Tie-Fighter then it takes less time.

 

Just a head's up Peter canceled for Cinci in September for filming so he may be a no show for Evansville


Cincinnati Comic Expo

This morning we announce that Peter Mayhew and Tim Rose are unable to attend the 2014 Cincinnati Comic Expo. Peter has to resume filming for Star Wars VII and Tim has accepted a motion picture project filming at the time of the show. We will remain in contact with these gentlemen about possibly bringing them to a future event. For our fans though, standby a new announcement of guests coming soon!

<BUT Cinci will be bringing in Daniel Logan, John Morton and Dickey Beer to replace Peter and Tim Rose>

 

Looks like they've added Jake Lloyd to the line up...nice!

 

One of my students was Jake Lloyd's prom date.

 

Ya know.. this is looking very promising for a day trip. Is anyone else going?
