[GEN] Complete color listing

I have a question... I'm sorta new here, and I wasn't sure where else to ask this question, and this seemed like a logical place. I heard that only admins could have their login name highlighted and with colored text, but I've seen it other places as well. Is this "law-breaking", or is it okay in some cases? Also, can we just choose to put all of our text in one color in all messages, but not in our login name? In other words, can we color the text but not the title? Thanks a bunch!

Are you referring to VIPs?

You have to be a VIP or higher to even be able to have your name in colors (technically speaking, regardless of our rules).

Yes, all you have to do is add a little #.

[color=ececec[i][/i]] doesn't work, but [color=#ececec[i][/i]] does.
