[GEN] If I think of/write something while drunk is it okay to post it once I've sobered up?

The key to posting when drunk is to not post something like:

I AM TEH DRUNK!1!1!!11!1!!

 

But I AM TEH DRUNK!1!1!!11!1!!

no joke.


And I am still capable of posting in a concise and accurate manner.


Posting while drunk shouldnt be a problem, just posting stupid on nonfamilyfreindlt stuff.

Ah, underage drinking.... He's 19 and in the US?
What if a German talks about being drunk at 19, because it's allowed at 18 here? Is that promoting underage drinking? It isn't really underage drinking, after all.

 

Nope, it isn't. It's the same thing with smoking pot... legal in canada, not the US... these subjects just need to be delt with tastefully.

 

Technically, it's not legal here (yet), but the cops don't care unless you're a dealer. If a cop finds a joint on you, he'll just take it away. No fine, no nothing (unless you were driving).

Since there's an election coming up sometime this year, I'm expecting a few more steps taken towards legalizing it.

 

Have I posted while under the influence? yes

Have I bragged about being drunk while posting? no

Have I been sillier when PUI? yes

Have I broken the TOS when PUI? no

like has been said, so long as you're not breaking the TOS, you're fine.

 

the day that you can indubitably prove a person is posting while drunk is the day i start rooting for the yankees. (not gonna happen)

 

i would have been drunk while posting last night but i fell asleep before i could come online.

Could you imagine the field sobriety test for PUI?

Moon: It's not my fault sir. My keyboard is out of alignment. I promise I'll get it fixed.
Mod: Alright Moon, but first I'd like you to stand with one foot propped up on your computer desk, hold your arms out to your sides, tilt your head back, then take your left index finger and touch the tip of your nose. Failure to reply within 60 seconds and I will automatically assume you've fallen and cannot get back up to your keyboard.
(pause)
Moon: Ok, there, I did it.
Mod: Hmmmmm..... Now I want you to begin typing the alphabet..... backwards.
Moon: Uh..... z-x-......y..... q.....
Mod: Alright Moon that's enough. You've failed the Jedi Council Forums field sobriety test. Get in the squad car, you've earned yourself a 24 hour ban to sober up.
