Fair point I guess. I don't have a massive issue as it has some OT in it myself.

The side-bar could sure use some work, but the cover images from the books only provide panorama shots, so "tall" images fit in rather hard, anyway. I'm also sorry for recycling the style-sheet, but I don't have the time right now to make a proper one.

Since I'm not really familiar with SoT, please tell me if anything's missing or misplaced.

I loaded it up earlier and it's in our Test forum. It looks good! I normally leave it up to the forum mods to rotate new banners in to their forums so it isn't in Lit yet.

 

The main index banner has got to be replaced. I just noticed, there's no Luke, C-3PO, or R2-D2...

The background repeats for me

 

I didn't know where to ask this so I figured I'd ask here.

The St. Patrick's Day banner is lovely and very funny with the Guinness beer up front and center and I love most of it but there is no real Irishman there, namely Liam Neeson aka Qui-Gon Jinn. Is it possible to get it changed to include him? Or could we call for a new banner to include him?

 

We're actually discussing new holiday banners in MS. We didn't have enough time to get it started for St Patrick's Day this year, however.

 

Next year would be lovely!

 

Just chiming in my agreement with Diane, a rearrangement of this banner would be good, lacking the only truly Irish actor in the Saga just seems to be wrong on St. Patrick's Day!

 

Hi there. Can anyone tell me where the poster art came from, that makes up the main Jedi Council Forums banner? Is is made up of art from more than one poster? I seem to remember seeing a poster a while back that contained art from all six films, but I can't seem to find it anywhere online for purchase. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

 

I made that banner about half a year ago and for the life of me I can't remember where I found the source images. I can tell you that the banner was created by piecing together several different images. I'll try to find the original images and their origin for you.

 

Thanks I just found out that the original art was from posters by a Japanese artist called Tsuneo Sanda. Really amazing air brushed paintings. Thanks for looking anyway!

It was fab.

 

He has done some amazing art. He was at Celebration Europe last July here in London. I really wish I could have bought something. I did get his autograph on a flyer that was on the stand though. He's done quite a bit of Fett art and I'd love to own one of those pieces.
