Borsk Fey'lya is an ass. Well, right up until the point where he died. I'll at least give him that much.

hehe. That's exactly what I said, (but then again your probably just agreeing with that post). So it's alright to call fictional characters asses then?

I understand why A_A has this complaint.

Until now, it had been my understanding that the F in ROTFLMFAO stood for, "Rolling on the floor laughing my fat ass off."

Now, the mods believe that it stands for "Rolling on the floor laughing my ****ing ass off."

I agree with Apprentice_Anakin on this, as I have never heard the latter as it typed out in full.

I'm a mod and I don't think it stands for that. It's what I said on page 1.

You are the ONLY person in my entire life that I have ever seen that didn't think it was what Obi-Zhan said above. The only person. I say this truthfully.

Of course you can make it be anything you want. I could say:

"hey guys! I thought LMFAO meant Laughing Merrily For All Others lololol"

Just because I am a MOD, does that make me right?

My mother, who despises profanity in all forms, uses "LMFAO" all the time on the message boards, and has always understood the F to mean "fat". The same goes for me.

There is a point where you are simply being oversensitive.

Dagnabit! Why in the dingy-dong-darn heck would you be asking me to rule on that bob-forsaken phrase?

I trust that answer should be clear enough.

    Because you're LDS.

There is a point where you are simply being oversensitive.

And there's a point where you edit the abbreviation because it's been used in a different context. Just because some people have never used the LMFAO in the context of the "f" word, doesn't mean that many others have and still do. Therefore, you must edit to the lowest common denominator if you're going to edit at all.

I'm still of the mind that editing "f's" everywhere is silly, but if we're going to do it, we need to make sure we're editing things that could be used in the wrong context.

You've been a mod long enough to realize the answer is 'yes'. ;)

    Because you're LDS.

So? That's more of a Utahism than a Mormonism. I've only lived about one year of my life in Utah, and that was from 1980-1981 (and a tiny bit of 1982). Other than that, I have stayed fairly clean of Utah "Marman" culture.

I even hate green Jello with shredded carrots.

Droideka - What? You completely confused me. I was saying I agreed with Obi-Zahn.

K_K - Whoever invented green Jello with shredded carrots should be made to eat it for every year we've had to suffer!!!!

Heh. None of my LDS friends can stand Utah Mormons. I suppose you can't either.

    Back on topic.
