I had to group the Northern Irish parties together because I ran out of room.

I tend to vote Tory in General Elections and Green at local elections.

Since I'll soon be able to vote, I'll vote green.
But if I had to vote for a party that would actually get into power, I'd vote Labour.

I'd like Green to have more power then they have.
But since they don't, and the lib Dems are unlikely to win, I'd have to go for Labour.

After all, do we want that discrace to the Vampire species Mr Howard running the country?

I guess people seem to have forgotten it was good old Mr Howard that introduced the complete cock up that was the Poll Tax!

    He's a Tory
All one has to do is think of what thatcher and Major did and it would stop them ever wanting to vote Tory

Just because you dislike Blair, don't vote for a worse candidate.

The Tories weren't all bad you know. Otherwise New Labour wouldn't have "borrowed" most of their policies ;)

If you don't vote Green they will never get more power!

If I could I'd go for Lib Dems. My view is sort of Green, with a sense of theoretical communism. So I'd vote Lib Dems because they're better than Labour, and they may actually have a chance this time around.

I have no idea as to the political system and standings of any party, other than there is Labour and BlairLabour, and I would tend to favour Labour over the rest esp Tories :p

    Well, think about it.
None of them really have our interests at heart so why vote for any of them?

Where's the option for "I don't vote because all politicians are equally useless/corrupt and all the parties are pretty much the same anyway and my area's so completely dominated by one party that there's no way my single vote would make any difference anyway"?

Yeah thats exactly the catagory I was looking for. I vote becuase I have a duty to vote, but I'd rather have a 'non of the above' box.

probably Lib Dem (for purely selfish student loan reasons, i don't really believe in our country's democracy)

but after seeing a broadcast the other day i might vote Plaid Cymru, i always thought they were a bit more right but some of their policies appealed to me. of course just because a party promises something it doesn't mean it will happen

I sometimes wonder if I should vote out of duty, it's just that that duty isn't to any of the people you can vote for.

I'll probably vote Lib Dem. I'd like to see them with more of a chance this time even if I don't particularly agree with all of their policies.

Thats not a good system Amber
You could end up voting for a worse party just cos you don't want to vote for Blair.
