I can't stand the Euro or Europe
We don't have, nor will we get the Euro.
You would rather we leave the EU and have our trading with europe & our relationship with europe crumble?

We need Europe as much as they need us, we are part of Europe after all.

    Green are evil
And you would rather our nation became the new Alaska because of globel warming?
Without a party to speak for a green nation, we would just wreck it.

As a foreign national I can't vote in the UK Election, but if I did I would have to go with either UKIP or Conservative. I hate the idea of unelected European bureaucrats telling this country what policies and laws it should have, and I hate the increase in nannying government and bureaucracy under Labour. Also I don't trust Blair now, let alone for another term.
I think Brown would be just as bad - except he would be better than Blair at hiding any tax increases.

If I vote at-all, I'll vote for UKIP. Second place I'd go for Kilroy.

But you trust Michael Howard?
Who has been in positions of power and screwed things up.
He had his chance, don't give him any more

I don't like Blair either, but the alternatives are far worse (besides Charles Kennedy but hes not likely to win)

maybe if you actually voted then he might, isn't that the point?

so many people claim they would vote lib dem but it's a wasted vote, they would probably have a large majority if people had any faith in them

The whole reason I don't like Green is because of their stance on the Iraq War. I support their enviromental efforts completely.

I don't know if I'm gonna vote or not. I can't stand the big three, but the ones I do like are so small and fragmented that voting for them wouldn't make a difference anyway!

By the way, the real working class party is actually the Socialist Party, who were once Militant Labour, who in turn had broken away from the Labour Party when they betreyed the WORKING CLASS.

The only good thing Labour has done is ban hunting with hounds - all their other polices have been against working class people, the ones they are supposed to represent - take New Deal, for instance, it's supposed to provide training for people who have been unemployed for over six months. I've done it four times - the only decent courses are those at college and university, all these are only avilable full time for those who can afford them or who are under 19!

By the way, I'm a part time student at Sheffield University now and I hate the prospect that soon my course will be disruped becasue I'll have to do New Deal again and have to put up with chavs as well as a crap training course that isn't worth the paperwork you have to fill in.

As for Iraq, you can't impose democracy.

I'd better shut up now before I really get ranting...

In fact, I might get out of this country all together and move to CANADA, at least you can get Mike Stackpole novels there and it's the only country I've come across that has wildlife on their money. Oh, they also have Nickalback, Grey and Red wolves and km of unspoilt forests...

I voted for 'other' because I don't think I'll be voting. I've only ever voted once before, and that was just to see what it was like.

I have a problem with politians - they are all as bad as each other, and as bent as a 3 pound note. I don't have any belief in any of them to run my country as they spend too much time pussy-footing around trying not to piss anyone off.

What I'd like to see is a hard-nosed politians who isn't afraid to call a spade a spade, and actually have the balls to lead the country.

Bring back Thatcher (despite her milk-stealing tendencies) - that's my suggestion.

"By the way, the real working class party is actually the Socialist Party, who were once Militant Labour, who in turn had broken away from the Labour Party when they betreyed the WORKING CLASS."

but the socialist party is completely ineffectual except for high quality street corner ranting. the whole idea of a 'socialist' party trying to get elected is ridiculous because the whole point of such a party should be to aid the proletariat once it has started its own revolutionary movement rather than tell it what to do from the top down. for 'the real working class party' there are an awful lot of expensively educated middle class people in the socialist party

sorry, my Marxism is showing [face_blush]

That's the worst suggestion I've heard in a long time. She was the worst PM this country has ever had. She only cared about money.

All one has to do is think of what thatcher and Major did and it would stop them ever wanting to vote Tory

Couldn't disagree more, but then I'm considerably older than you two and was actually able to vote during the Thatcher years.

So you call me middle class for being in the Socalist Party? And for going to university? Ah! I came from a working class family and I only get £44 a week to live on. Oh...I'm also a writer and a web designer.

I just don't see why because I'm poor that I should automatically be factory fodder or a cleaner that only works ten hours a week. Why should other people from working class families have to suffer the same?

Chavs choose to be what they are!

    AND SO SHALL I!

You could end up voting for a worse party just cos you don't want to vote for Blair.

As far as I am concerned Blair is the worst option possible, and it is not just him it is the whole party really he is just the worst out of all of them. Thinking about it I am more likely to vote for Conservative than any one else.

Hmm, the PM who built the economy that we're currently enjoying the fruits of ? Sorting out your countries finances is exactly how you build a better country.

You won't say that once Michael "Dracula" Howard is in power.

He tried to prove himself under a corrupt government and failed.

I'd rather have a dodgy PM then one who'll cripple the nation (again)
