General Grievous's origin story

Where did he come from, anyway? How did he hook up with Sidious?

 

There's an article on Wikipedia or this short summary:

Grievous was originally a Kaleesh, a species involved in a small tribal war between the Kaleesh and Huk, sponsored by the Confederacy and Republic, respectively. GG was an extraordinary strategist, and the Confederacy wanted him to be their head General. He refuses at first, but his tactics reached the eyes of Sidious, who ordered the Seps to bomb his shuttle. The Techno Union rebuilt Grievous, and they told him that Jedi performed the bombing. Obsessed by misplaced rage, he took the job of Grand General with deadly effect.

 

Whoa. I had not heard his species name yet. The official site doesn't even list it. I wonder where they got that??

I just heard that he was a lizard-like warrior that got rebuilt.

 

I think Sidious or Tyrannus arranged the shuttle accident.

 

So he's basically a prototype Vader.

Labyrinth Of Evil Pretty much sums it up, it has him in 1st person POV also.

 

You can also find his original story in star wars visionaries but im not shure if it is right or not

Obi-Wan lied to Luke about his dad. Palpatine lied to Anakin about Padme's fate. Anakin lied to the Jedi Council about his marriage. Dooku lied to Obi-Wan about wanting to overthrow Sidious. Sidious lied to Dooku about getting his Dark-Sider butt out of trouble. Anakin lied to Padme about his activities at the Temple. Padme lied to the Senate about her pregnancy. Sidious lied to the General about who did what. Lando lied to Han on Cloud City. Leia lied to Darth Vader about the Death Star plans, but nobody minds that.

Everybody's either lying or being lied to!

 

Pretty much. Truth, Justice, and the Republic Way pretty much get thrown out the window, don't they?
