When those two Jedi toss Obi-Wan and Anakin their lightsabers, their is an Ithorian Jedi with a green lightsaber near them.

That's a tough comparison. Logistically speaking, I always assumed Geonosis involved more combatants on either side. In terms of quality? Both are absolutely amazing scenes.

Sure about that? I don't see it.

Pause right after they flip their lightsabers, and look at the Jedi next to the laser blast (the black spot on the ground). Pretty sure it's an Ithorian.

I don't know; I can't see a head, or anything above the shoulders, on any of the Jedi behind them.

The only Ithorian Jedi I know of are Roron Corobb from Tartakovsky's Clone Wars and Masters Worror and Obba from Karpyshyn's Rule of Two and Dynasty of Evil respectively.

Going by this screencap from right before they activate their lightsabers, all of the nearby Jedi are human.

The dude with long hair and a green saber looks like Quinlan Vos!

Hm... you sure there was an Ithorian Jedi there? Something I've never noticed, but I'd certainly like to see it.

Oh, I guess it wasn't an Ithorian.

...However, pause the video at 7:03. A Nikto Jedi (assuming you know who those are) with a green lightsaber jumps over a pillar and destroys a battle droid. Cool Stuff.

I don't remember if this was mentioned, but in the initial charge (where Kit Fisto, the kid, and the countless other Jedi run into a wall of battle droids after Mace jumps down to the ground), if you look toward the front and farther from the camera, you can see Saesee Tiin.

That's Joclad Danva, a Jedi Master skilled in Teras Kasi. Vos was at Geonosis, but not in the circle.

Hmm. I know it's not actually Quinlan, but are you sure it's Joclad? I think Joclad was wearing a dark shirt/tunic. That Jedi has on a light tunic.

    Nope Nope Nope Nope

    Nope

    Nope

    Nope

And that's not even counting the siege of Minas Tirith that happens prior. Or the battle at the Black Gates. Gotta give credit where it's due ;)

That being said, I LOVE me some AOTC. That movie came out when I was 9 (really the perfect age for a movie like this) and I can't possibly count the amount of times I watched this battle over and over again.

    Wait, is that....

You mean CGI? Well, it is necessary. Geonosis is supposed to be an alien planet, so that there requires work. Then you've got two massive armies and military grade weapons and ships. We're seeing the kinds of epic battles that we couldn't in the OT. $125 million dollar budgets with CGI and practical effects.

Yes, I mean CGI. And I see how it was necessary, I'm not complaining, simply stating.
