German classes with MsLanna

So you can understand what I am talking about when ich plötzlich ins Deutsche wechsel.

Colors. I forgot them. then basic greetings

 

Farben?

rot - red
gelb - yellow
grün - green
blau - blue
schwarz - black
weiß - white
grau - grey
lila - purple
rosa - pink

How many do you want? The number of shades is incredible...

 

you can just say how to say light and dark

I couldn't remember what green was..

 

You do remember the other way to write ü ä ö, when you don't have the letters, though?

 

I don't have those keys..

 

That's why I ask. Most people don't.

So here's how you do the other way:

ü -ue
ä -ae
ö -oe

You can write grün or gruen.
The latter is only acceptable if you can't make a 'ü' thogh. So, for everybody without a German keyboard...

Hello is really easy. YOu justr ahve to turn the 'e' into an 'a': Hallo.

Good bye is 'Auf Wiedersehn'
How are you - Wie geht es dir?

You could answe 'good' which is 'gut' in German.

You would say: 'Mir geht es gut. Und dir?'

(Is there a German version of Okay)

 

We say 'okay' as well.

fumfuzig - probably fünfzig - 50
