Speaking of which.....he sent me this e-mail today:
'Here's a funny story - The other day I arrived at work at 9 in the morning, and worked until 6. Only then do I realise that my shift was actually 11 - 8. I'd made a bit of a cock up, and therefore had to remain until 8 that night bedause I was needed. So, the reverse of my normal problem here, it kind of bodes well for the future I think.'

True, but as I said I'm sure I could convince them and because I'll be the new boy amoungst the group they may be more willing to help. And they may see it as a good reward for having to be your translator for the past year
