Superbowl commercials are for getting more snacks.

 

Nope, that's what halftime is for. A proper superbowl party has enough snacks to last an entire half of football.

Katy Perry is certainly has her gifts, but I will be passing on that unless I get my halftime festivities done early. For me, halftime is for the food-ish stuff (not snacks), head-calls and getting some fresh air outside. That many people in one room gets stuffy.

 

At our parties, we have real food and snacks together through both halves of the game. Halftime is to replenish that stock, restroom trips, leg stretching etc. Commercial time during the game itself, we're still watching unless the game has had a down year of commercials... as happens on occasion.

 

Let's hope this year's game isn't over in the first five minutes.

 

I rather enjoyed last year's game.

 

Concerning the Super Bowl, halftime is almost always time for me to go on a bathroom break... if I happen to watch any amount of the halftime show, it's because I ate too much during the 1st half, and thus can't move off the couch.

You don't wait 10yrs for a superbowl commercial. Also, we may get some small spoilers here (not the entire content like SB commercials)... but if it was offered to view the entire rough cut of the film today I would not watch it, I would still wait for it to arrive in theaters.

Leaking a superbowl commercials takes away one of the best reasons to watch the superbowl itself. Sorry, I prefer the Superbowl Sunday experience the way it's always been.

 

Biggest no brainer in history on that one... who in the world outside of the New England region wants to root for cheaters?
