    Given that I'm a Masters student it wouldn't affect me that much, but the general student population apparently was not pleased. I was just looking for an excuse to visit the US again since I won't be back there until my brother's graduation in May anyways.

    I was really hoping for another Ghostbusters. I love both those movies. Now, however, no. Can't have Ghostbusters without Egon.

    Oh no don't freaking tell me that Harold Ramis is gone now! I don't even want to look at the news but as I'm typing this the truth of it is sinking in. For the record I didn't want another Ghostbusters movie anyway, but this is still saddening news.

    This. Leave the 80s alone, Hollywood, Red Dawn was awful (though enjoyable) then and it was even worse in 2012.

    Yeah, I was really sad to read that this morning. :(

    I agree about leaving the 80's mostly alone, we don't need remakes of every movie that people still love.

    Meh, I liked the remake. Kevin Dillon was hilarious in it. Never saw the original, though.

    I saw the Robocop remake. Going in I thought I would hate it, but my brother and friends wanted to see it so I was out voted. I actually liked it, not as much as the original, but it wasn't that bad.

    There was a major change regarding Murphy's family from the original that I liked way more than the original.
