its really quiet in here today
Routine suicide check up?
My wife has to schedule those for me when I lock myself in the studio.
"Yep, still dead."
I live about a mile from there... small world.
You people didn't get too chatty while I was at work.
Busy day. ****load of paperwork involved in ordering over a thousand dollars worth of books. Plus the plague is still sweeping through so less manpower.
I like busy though.
You in Springfield or Drexel Hill? I live in center city now, but my family are all in Upper Darby and my first house in the States was in Kingsessing, SW Philly.
I ate dinner at the Springfield diner on Baltimore.
I just went to the Baltimore Pike Best Buy yesterday.
Whenever I think of Baltimore, this is what first comes to mind:
Such a great show, and was the first ever adult drama I began to watch on television when I was a kid.
Good Morning !!
EDIT: Back in a few. Panera is calling and it is too nice out to not take a walk.
Good morning all!
Mom's turned into a baking feind. Two days ago she baked up Grandma's white chocolate chip and cranberry cookies, and yesterday she made chocolate cookies that'll give you a serious buzz. Today she's going to make 'christmas tree' cookies, which are made from almond cookie dough forced through a cookie press into the shape of a tree. They're colored green, have sprinkles added, and then they're baked until the bottom just starts to brown. YUM!
I just gained 5lbs reading your post. I'LL stay at planetfitness an extra 1/2hr today.
White Chocolate & cranberries sounds so good
Oops I worded that badly. I meant to say it was some call about a guy who had previously attempted suicide, and was on suicide watch. The officer went to check up on him, and the guy was waiting in the ally and shot the officer. I was in the general area that night too, so it was kinda freaky.
Yikes... terrible to hear about.
@JainaSoloYJK: Though I despise so much of Christmas, I've got nothing against the cookies (my aunt makes a bunch for our family every year), and the ones you describe sound soooooooo delicious.
Yeah it was really tragic. It's just great that so many people came to his funeral.
It's currently in the upper 40's with almost no snow on the ground. I WANT SNOW DAMMIT
Really, you want bad weather that bad?
If I wanted bad weather, I'd move to south Florida.
Send me the snow as well.
Good afternoon GIL.
Snow isn't 'bad weather'. When it gets cloudy and gray and the wind is FREEZING yet not a single snowflake or even drop of rain falls....THAT is bad weather.
Nah. I'll take cloudy and grey woth freezing wind. Temperatures above 80 degrees with humidity above 75 percent? That's bad weather.
For it to snow, it has to be below 30 degrees right? Anything below 50 I consider to be intolerable.
