    nope but he didn't have anywhere to do homework and it was only 15 bucks at the thrift store. so it just kind of made sense to get it.

    Ahhhhh, got it. There's a educational supplies store near my house (and along my walking route), that has this sign on their front door: Nobody under the age of 18 is permitted without supervision. Interesting. :p

    Well, one, I like men as opposed to feeling like they're all out to get me, and two, I just want to hang out with them, not rule over them. I guess that separates me from the radical group. :p

    But I believe in equality and I'll call chauvinism anywhere I see it.

    Evening GIL! :)

    Got back from my family trip today and despite some incredibly annoying moments with very tired kids and a few hours when the camper broke down it was a great time. Unfortunately, we didn't get much hiking done before we got to Mount Rushmore because my kids are lazy but we definitely made up for it when we got there. The highlight for me was when I got to go to Sturgis where they hold the motorcycle rally. It was great but now I need to go when they're actually holding the rally. :p

    I've hiked as much as two miles with my kids but that's all they have the stamina for, and they're usually complaining after a mile. If I do a solo hike it's usually 5-10 miles.

    Glad you had a good time.

    Definitely not small, no. I think they said the heads were about 60 feet tall or something. Pictures are great but it was really cool being there in person.
