So's Mad Men. 'Course, I'm with friends tonight, so we're watching both, even though I never watch GoT. Only ten minutes in and there's already a sex scene. :p

The sex scenes are the best part of that show. And I haven't watched much of it.

Dwight Howard you disappoint me. Love my Lakers but now to root for whoever can beat the Heat

Armen, I adore how you chose to post that pic in b&w... adds to the melancholy of it all. Kobe said they were "old as ****" this season? Wait until next...

So who's all excited for Iron Man 3 on Friday? Unless you're from Europe and have already seen it.

I'm hoping to see it on Friday, and since our track meet is at my campus, we may even be able to go to the midnight showing.[face_praying]

I'm likely to see Pain and Gain before Iron Man 3.

Heh, last year I went to the movies about 25 times. So far only 5-6 times this year.

Haha, OK. Well, Iron Man 1 and 2 are good (even though some were disappointed in 2), but you could just get mostly caught up on the character by seeing The Avengers, which was better than the two Iron Man standalone movies. Your sons weren't interested in seeing The Avengers?

I still haven't taken my son to see Jurassic Park 3D. :( I might not be able to do that one but I hope to be able to take him to IM3 next weekend. [face_praying]

Summer is when I see most movies. I'm sure I'll see a ton between now and August.

They are, it's just a matter of getting to it, working around swim schedules and other schedules. Ditto with Jurassic Park 3D.

I'm more interested in The Avengers than Iron Man so I may just go with your recommendation.

Meh. Comic-based movies are a huge snore to me...the last one I saw that I was even remotely interested in was Spiderman 3. Did see 'The Dark Knight Rises'....would have left if I hadn't been on a date. :p

I saw it on Sunday. It was a neat film for the most part. Though I do think the final act stretches on and on for far too long. It's almost as if the suits in charge of Marvel noticed the majority of the movie focuses on characters rather than action scenes so demanded that the final sequence be overtly long so that there were enough trailer bait scenes to get bums on seats.

Yeah, The Avengers is a great spectacle. I saw it twice in theaters. I've never done that before.

The Avengers was just a good time out at the cinema for all involved. I'd even argue that it didn't need all the films leading up to it. The character work within the film is good enough for it to stand alone.
