It's a nice cool night out tonight. Better stay that way and not snow dammit.

Nice. That is sincerely a legit Colombia getup. My first girlfriend played Magenta for a few years. She was also from Eire, same as the actual Magenta. I covered as Riff Raff, once. Just once. Too much attention for me, but they needed a fill-in so I was fine to do it. What was your actual hair style then? You really have Nell's basic look down brilliantly.

    *blush*

    Thank you!

Yeah, I even had that horrible haircut, my hair was red, but not 'fright red' (in fact, we had to use cheap spray for that shot as I had to work or some such - been a while...)

I even had real taps on my shoes, the corset was a 1950's 'widow's peak', and JoAnn even used gold thread for the ribbons - I loaned her the photo novel for reference, and she used a magnifying glass to match up each bloody one - (She's an award winning costumer, would scare the beans out of the average creator - if I was of the age and still had the bod, I'd have her do Padme's Lake Dress, just because I know she'd get it screen perfect)

Funny how life goes - the first man in my adult life was a 'Frank-N-Furter', then for many years I dated our Brad, and the person who's currently in my life was 'Rocky' back then, but alas, he's built a little more like Eddie now :p

PS - Yeah, back in the day in PDX, I'd do the floorshow 'right' (if you know what I mean! [face_blush]) but these days, I'd have to drop the corset a few more inches.... [face_rofl]

I still have a bunch of the weekly bulletins in my studio somewhere, but other than that, it's just a memory at this point. Even the theatre where it took place is gone.

    :(

Yeah, that is one of the few surviving pictures of me as Columbia.

The Clinton Street in PDX still has it - funny, I think they still use the Sheet Chris (Frank) made for the control panel. The Neptune in Seattle now shows mainstream movies (it was an 'art house') but the Starlight and Lincon Plaza in Tacoma (Brad and Rocky) are both gone now too...

    Afternoon GIL. :)

The big kiddo passed his mixed martial arts belt test after only a couple of months of lessons. [face_dancing]. The small kiddo should be ready to test in a couple of more months, his instructor said.

My roomate is dying - he has a headache/toothache and every once and a while I hear this great Homer Simpsonesque moan of death throws... Considering he ONLY asked me for 20$ when I was in 'OK, if this doesn't stop soon after 20 painkillers (not kidding), a hot pad after a hot shower that I could barely stand up in I'm going to the hospital' pain, yeah, there's a lot of pity here.

Yeah, usually 2-3 weeks of their summer break. They go to the Audubon camp near their grandparents' place just outside Boston for a week, and this summer I'm going to try to send them to a science camp for another week. The third week is up in the air at this point. We've got a decent selection of camps around here though, with a lot of working parents and North Carolina law mandating a 10-week summer vacation from school. (That's a long story involving the beach tourism lobby throwing a tantrum over shorter summer breaks.)

    That's what you call a man-headache.

I wish I could say I haven't exhibited such behavior in the past in a similar situation, but I have. [face_blush]

    Good morning, GIL!

You ever have one of those mornings where your shovel gets too close to the hummingbird feeder and dumps sugar water on your head?
    No? Just me....?

    Jar-Jar ain't the only one who's clumsy....:p
