    I've never been to California. But I keep thinking of the Steve Martin movie "LA Story," in which the LA Freeway (is that what it's even called?) had a "hunting season".

    It's funny, but it isn't the advent of some sort of comedic renaissance. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy it, but it is slightly overvalued.

    I think it's safe to say Marvel will have secured 3rd place for quite some time. They have 3 movies between now and Episode 7 meaning that lead over Star Wars is just going to grow even further. And then I'm going to assume the Marvelverse will also continue with phase 3 meaning that unless Star Wars draws in bigger money than a year's worth of Marvel movies that lead will continue to get bigger then too.

    Good morning everyone!

    Boston was #10. I try to avoid driving if I can help it and when I have to, I really try and avoid rush hour for anything, driving or public transit. Luckily, I have to be at work well before rush hour and I leave well after it. (I leave home at 0530 and leave work at 1930) which means I also usually miss the Fenway traffic as well seeing as how I live on that line of th T.

    On the weekends I do drive to work since I'm allowed to park and can sleep 30 minutes later and at 6 am on the weekends, no one is up yet. :p

    Well, my son and I saw Iron Man 3 yesterday afternoon and loved it. I thought it was better than Iron Man 1 and 2, and pretty much on par with The Avengers; maybe not quite as good, but close. Will probably want to post more thoughts later, but will do so when I can mess with spoiler tags so as not to ruin anything for anyone who still hasn't seen it. :p

    I've got a funny work-related story. I had fifth graders in the library researching wild animal diets; I've told them in the past that the Internet filter isn't foolproof and if they see anything "off," they should close the browser and let me know right away.

    About 20 minutes into their research, one of the girls came up to me with very wide eyes. "Don't EVER type 'cougar' into Google images!!"

    It was hard not to laugh.
