ST Get In Line - A Social Countdown to Episode VII

For whatever reason, I had quite a bit of trouble falling asleep last night...it was terribly frustrating. However, I ended up waking up at about the same time I as usually do.

 

My new puppy has learned to climb the fence to her indoor pen. She now runs amok.

So Star Trek is still doing good *which is great to hear*. I am though getting annoyed with people complaining about its big spoiler. Lemme just say this: It is absolutely NOTHING compared to the damn Mandarin one. IMO people are just overreacting. As long as he/she/it is handled and acted well then I dont care. Just my opinion

 

Just avoid the tumblr, and IMDB page. The place is full of spoilers and such.

 

I'm heavily spoiled for IM3, and I haven't even seen it yet. I'm not sure if I should do the same for Trek.

 

I loved the thing with the Mandarin. I wasn't spoiled per se, but I must have read something somewhere that clued me in a little ahead of time.

Another place to avoid is the Wikipedia page for a movie until after you've seen it; they always give a full summary of the plot.

 

That bothered me.

I felt that the movie fell apart after the "real" Mandarin was revealed. Waste of potential

 

Yeah, I can understand that view too, even though I personally liked the twist and its possible ties to reality.

 

I noticed the G W Bush era references.
